i feel duped by the discount price to start
Nancy R.
Disappointed to see that prices scaled up with dosage increases.
Response from RoOct 22, 2026
Hi Nancy! I requested additional information from you so I can provide additional information about the pricing for medication. Unfortunately we don't set the price for GLP-1 medication - pricing comes from the manufacturers. Depending on the medication you chose there are discounts available from the manufacturer that would apply to your treatment through Ro.

Its a little confusing the membership and purchasing the medicine

Hi Tierra, I'm sorry for any confusion caused! I reached out to you in your account with more details about your Ro Body membership.

Well it’s not the least expensive way to get Glp1 meds but the website is fast and they get you approved and meds sent right away. The ads are a bit deceptive in that they make you think it’s just $39 for the first month but the $39 is just for the first month of the “Body Membership”, which is the consultation online questionnaire and the Nurse Practitioner who actually prescribes the product. The first month of Wygovy 1.5 mg tabs is another $149. So the first month total is $188 with the Prescription and the discounted “Body Membership”. Next month it will be $149 for the Body Membership plus at least $149 for the drug depending upon the dose. Pricy but my Medicare part B doesn’t want to cover it because they say Medicare part D is supposed to cover it and my Medicare part D says no part B should cover it. So I’m paying cash with Ro at least until my Medicare parts B or D decides to pay.

I thought it was going to be 39.00 first month. They already charged me 149.00 and it’s going to go up to 299.00. Sad how miss leading this is
Response from RoOct 21, 2026
That $39 is the Ro Body Subscription fee and the $149 and $299 is your medication cost. The two costs are separate. This site may help create a better image of what to expect for you with all our cash pay prices listed under #2: https://ro.co/weight-loss/pricing/

The pay scheme is not well explained. It says cost nothing to try and then they charge you for your first trial. It leads you to think that the first month is a trial when it isn’t. You’re paying for essentially what seems like an AI response in place of a doctor recommendation. Not to say I don’t think the doctor went through it but it is a standardized response. You’re pay the low fee for an automated response and then charged to obtain the medication.

Hi Mary - Thanks for sharing! The first month fee waived is the subscription fee. I can take a look at your account to see if there is anything I can help with! Here is a list of every cash pay price of our treatments as well as the subscription fee: https://ro.co/weight-loss/pricing/.

In general, I appreciate the services this company provides- it meets a need. However, my experience coming onboard has been pretty unimpressive. First, I was asked if I was already receiving the medication I requested and at what dose. I provided the detail and the dose needed to maintain my treatment. The physician then finished the review and ordered me the starting dose - way too low. I could not reply, despite the fact that my prescription was being processed and I had been charged. I found a help chat, but they respond in 1-2 days. So, I am waiting to see if I paid for something that is incorrect when delivered or if this will be rectified. Further, the pricing is highly non-transparent until they have already charged you the initiation fee (which was reported to cover the first month, but did not.) So far, disappointed.

Hi Kristen - I'm going to request more information from you so I can personally take a look at your account to try to help out here! Here is a link to all of our cash pay prices for treatment: https://ro.co/weight-loss/pricing/ - if you hit "see all dose prices", you can see what to expect from the manufacturer pricing as dosage is adjusted. Hopefully this is helpful!
