Will never shop at rightstuf again. I order a blu-ray and dvd but the blu-ray never came in; there wasn't even a packing list in the box. They told me that both was ship out together at the same time and can't do anything more for me. So i just lost $80, so disappointing since this is the first time I had problems with them and I was looking forward to buying more from them. I wasn't looking for a refund, I just wanted the blu-ray that was not in the box but they acted like it not their problem and that I'm not telling the truth.

I ordered aAnime figure on the pre-order system, I moved 2 months before the release date. Sent an Email to customer service concerned that I wouldn't get my merchandise sent to the correct address. Was reassured by customer service everything had been updated and taken care of. Date comes and I receive a message that my package was set to leave to the Wrong Address, I called customer service they told me once my package arrived at the wrong address and once it wasn't signed for it would be shipped back to their warehouse and resent to the correct address.. after I seen it was delivered to the wrong address I called them back and they told me there was nothing I could about it and I was responsible for making sure my address was correct.. Well No Duh, that's why I tried 2 months in advance to fix it and then tried to stop the shipping before it was sent out. Lost out on an Figure that was over $100 .. your customer service is horrible and full of deceit, be honest with your customers!!!'

If you ever order from them and receive any bad dvd's or blu rays from the play side, good luck trying to get a replacement, they'll make you go through hell before anything happens, this is because of their new crappy policy that protects them and screw the customer.

I ordered a DVD box set and paid for 2-4 day shipping. After over a week it hadn't come. I went to their website and the order was listed as closed with no other information. I thought that meant it had shipped but there was no shipping info. I emailed and asked where my order was and got a reply that it had been flagged and canceled because I had only used my first initial and last name(like I always do when I order things online). Annoyed I replied and asked why I was contacted that my order was canceled or why they just didn't ask for my whole first name if it was that important. I got no replies to that for over a week. Today I got a reply that they don't inform customers when orders are flagged as fraud. I will never try to order anything from them again.

Based in Grimes, IA (who would have known an anime licensing company in the Midwest), Right Stuf is not only a licensing company but mostly a merchant selling anime goods. I bought many of my anime Blu-Rays and DVDs from Right Stuf. They also have tons of discounted products and I get even more discount from their Got Anime? membership. They provide free shipping on all orders over $49. When I had a problem, I just gave them a call to their 800 number and I get a friendly Right Stuf associate to address my needs. They ship fast and I often get a bonus by Right Stuf sending me my anime First Class Mail (instead of Media Mail) at no additional cost. Lastly, their subsidiary Nozomi Entertainment have a great anime call Tamayura. Check it out and buy it from Right Stuf!

I have ordered from Rightstuf several times in the past, and it really was an affordable purchase despite the bigger number of goods. The packaging was great and sturdy, the merchandise looked in perfect shape and it was delivered a lot faster than I was first announced (as in a week earlier). It was easy to track my order and the communication with the guys back at the shop was pretty decent (I had a minor problem with the authentification, being a foreign customer, I had to send some additional information, but it didn't delay my order too much). However, the once super-affordable goods are now taxed according to their weight. That means, as an international customer, I pay around 12 dollars for the shipment of two normal sized mangas, which isn't greatly affordable if you intend to buy more books. But, if you want some rare things that you can't find everywhere, it is the best place to buy from. They are a serious shop. All in all, I was pleased with their service, and I would order again if the actual shipping prices weren't so big for outside US. Maybe if there's something rare, I would definitely choose them again.

I had one bad experience that has dictated my decision to no longer use Rightstuf anymore. In this experience, I ordered Battle Royale Volume 3 (omnibus) and it might have been the fault of USPS but the way they handled this situation was disgusting. I ordered the manga through Amazon which was a great choice. The situation was that a notice was left for this package on a Saturday alongside a different package but when going to the local post office, the lady thought the notice corresponded with the different package (which I thought was odd, two notices in a day for one package). The package was not there, so the next step was going to the main post office (not there either). I tried redelivery twice on my own and then called USPS and the package never arrived. What did Righstuf do? Nothing, I told them that I thought the package was going to be returned because I couldn't get the package. This situation shows that the particular package was lost and I waited 15 days which said was going to be returned. What did Rightstuf do? Nothing, no refund or let me send you another package. I wrote a long message saying that is pretty clear that the package is lost and I want to reorder the package and to please refund. Did they respond? No. I spoke to Amazon and they told Rightstuf, refund or send another item because it has been x amount of days. I received a refund but if it was up to Righstuf, I do not know if I would have. I look at their website and wonder if I will try them again. Perhaps, I will but through Amazon because I do not trust them.
