reservationstays.comReviews of reservationstays.com

Reservationstay.com is a total scam. I thought I was reserving a room for a two night stay at the Country Inn and Suites in Grand Forks, ND. The price advertised was the bait and it was nonrefundable. Once the reservation was made, there was a line item for a tip and the taxes etc. were 3 times what it should have been. I thought the reservation was made through the Country Inn and Suites Hotel, but when checking in, it was apparently made through a Reservationstay (third party) Never use this dishonest website, Call the hotel directly and save money!

I had to pay again for my room in hotel. So not recommended at all and I will start fighting for refund as their policy is no refund. I will share this in the gulf countries. Today morning hotel informed that they received my booking confirmation late in the night but since I already paid they provided invoice that I sent by email to helpdesk of snaptravel and I am waiting for reimbursement. Reimbursement received a week later and booking was cancelled . Damage was limited to my stay.

I had not read the reviews about Reservationstay.com I had made reservations for my wife and myself at N.Y. N.Y. in Vegas and pre-paid the cost of the room via reservationstay. I just recently called the hotel and they confirmed everything. They got the reservations correct and that I had pre-paid for the hotel. The only cost they told me at the hotel was the hotel fee. So, all I can say is so far so good with reservationstay.com It would be nice to have a phone number for them because when I checked their website I could not find one. but hopefully everything will work out correctly. Time will tell.

Reservationstays.com is a scam. Four months ago, I clicked on an online ad made to look like the legit hotel company's ad (yes, I fell for it). After calling and making a reservation with someone who struggled to understand me and get the information in, I had a bad feeling and decided to cancel. When I called back (within the hour), I was told the reservation was non-refundable and they hung up. Tried again twice, no answer. Third time, was again told it was non-refundable. I told them I was reporting this as fraud to my credit card company. They hung up. I called my credit card company and was able to shut the card down before anything was charged. Fast forward to today, when I found a confirmation for our upcoming trip in my spam folder for the reservationstays.com reservation. I called the hotel directly and they said I did indeed have a reservation through Booking.com that they could not cancel. Sooo....it looks to me like reservationstays.com is taking info by phone and making reservations in the caller's name on legit sites like Booking.com. Since customers don't know this, they end up caught in an impossible loop with a clueless hotel and a scammy third-party company. Fortunately, when I told the hotel rep what had happened (and that my card had been canceled and there would be no reimbursement coming for the Booking.com reservation in my name), they overrode the "No cancelling third-party reservations" policy and cancelled my stay. Be careful out there. Caveat Emptor!

Googled for deals on a specific Choice Hotels property. My own fault that I didn't notice they had a "choice hotels" subdomain on reservationstays.com ... I thought I was dealing with the real hotel. Anyway, they did book my 3 nights at the hotel but when I arrived they didn't have the room I requested. All along I thought Choice Hotels had screwed up. In fact, Choice Hotels refunded me the rate difference but I am currently fighting with reservationstays.com AKA snaptravel.com to get that credit forwarded to my card.

I am out $180 for the same reason that other users on here stated. When I made the reservation there was a calendar that I chose the dates on. But, there were date fields below that did not auto-populate to the dates I chose. I have wasted about 2 hours trying to get my money back. I was assured by the hotel, even given a cancellation confirmation number. But nobody will do anything about it. ALWAYS MAKE RESERVATIONS DIRECTLY THROUGH THE HOTEL!

This is a scam. They would not give me a hotel confirmation code. I attempted to call the hotel multiple times and they did not have my reservation. When I filed a chargeback with my credit card company, they sided with Reservation Stays, saying they provided enough evidence. DO NOT USE.

reservationstays.com AKA Snaptravel. I booked with Suncadia Resort, and receipt showed wrong date of same night booked, I called and they would not give refund. Scam site. You can see it's happened to many others on review sites. They should not have a merchant account. And hotels should not use this company for bookings. Having to fight dispute with bank b/c scam company is trying to rip me off like they have many others.
