I did the same thing as others have done. I thought I was booking with the hotel directly. I am so angry about this site. John was his name and he confirmed the price right, but didn’t tell me about the 52% taxes and fees or $92.00. He asked to text me the confirmation and when we called the hotel they didn’t have that conformation number. The only way they found it was through our Hilton Honors account, and they said it was through Expedia.

I was under the impression that I was speaking to the actual hotel. When I tried to make a change at a later date (over 2 weeks notice), they said I had to contact the actual hotel. Then I called the hotel and they said because I made it with a third party, I couldn't change it. I could not find the correct phone number for the actual hotel online...how are you supposed to make a reservation with the hotel if you can't find the correct site??!!

They pretend they are the hotel.They charge for this service.$17.99.I asked for various things like microwave or coffee pot.They lied.They booked me for the wrong dates.Search them and says free cancelations or changes.She also told me if I called by a certain date no charge for changes. Well they would not fix the date they messed up and said I will get no refund at all.So beware of any booking sights.I also contacted BBB.

Robbery took place. The average rate of the rooms at the hotel is $134.00 to about $153.00. I was told one price when I called the hotel and was charged way above that price. They charged me $216.06. I have now contacted the Ceo office because they may be doing this to other people also. This on top of having to come to new york for a funeral. Two cousins died within 9 days of each other. The thing is you are being rob at the most sad time of your life. The answer they gave me wasn't true , I was a prior travel agent and know better.

If I could leave less than one star, I would. Don't be deceived by this scam. The agents repeated to me several times that if I cancelled, I would receive a 100% refund. Upon cancelling, they said they would send a refund minus the agent booking fee. Their agent never mentioned a non-refundable booking fee.

For my son's birthday I arranged to surprise him with a weekend at a hotel for two nights in Wendover, Nevada. The reservation desk booked him in Reno. He (And his fiancée) drove to Wendover with a bunch of other couples and when they got there discovered the mistake. He had to scramble to find a local hotel and pay out of pocket. This meant being away from the group and only staying one night. It took a month and lots of complaining, but we got that refund. They also said they would take into consideration his out-of-pocket cost for the one night, $230.84. He had to leave all of them behind for his birthday weekend. It was so disappointing. Today I learned that they will not refund him for that one-night stay. His entire weekend was ruined and I do not belive it is asking too much.

I thought I was calling the actual hotel and said what was on the website which was different than what the agent shared. They only gave me the hotel number after I booked it. The website said free cancellation whereas they charged $17.99 as nonrefundable. The hotel would have been $25 less. Very deceptive.

Don't let the website "reservation desk" fool you. It is a third party reservation site acting as if it's the actual hotels "Reservation Desk". DO NOT fall for this scam. Book directly with the hotel's actual website.
