I have been a customer for 10+ years. I am closing my account and will be charged $75 for them to pick up their own receptacle. I offered to drop it off, they won't let me. I am leaving the company because they raised my rates without explanation. I am saving over $100 a quarter with my new company. I sincerely wish I had left republic years ago. They are not a good company and their customer service is terrible

Absolute nightmare. For the past 2 months, Republic has consistently missed either picking up trash, recycling or both in our development. We pay for weekly services. And yet we are getting scammed. Our HOA and board has tried relentlessly to find a resolution but Republic keeps offering empty promises. Please save your money and do NOT waste a dime with Republic.

This company had a history of missed pick up, billing customers for services that they were not contracted, poor customer service. It took me almost a year to get my account straight. Our community switched trash companies and they are charging residents $100 to pick up their empty containers! I changed my auto pay to be discontinued twice and today got an email "thanking me for my $100 payment". I am beyond aggravated and will be contacting my bank.

I am done with a company that leaves people like myself out there Alone to deal with things and the lies that you give. Republic services is the worst garbage company you could possibly have. I've had two months of nothing but being lied to, and having many handicaps from surgeries, they have not shown up to pick up my garbage, although they have promised to do so. Spoken to Regional and local managers, drivers, call centers and today I have four weeks worth of garbage and recycling sitting out in front of my house that I struggled to get out there but can't walk to get them. I can’t physically do it myself and they don't care about serving our community whatsoever! Things are very different when it was High Desert, but now it is a sham. They should be ashamed. It is too bad that is our only choice because I am absolutely appalled that this is how they act. Wasted weeks and hours upon hours on phone to rectify a problem that I only get lied to every step of the way. There is zero accountability as they are the only game in town! You are being charged for recycling that you can't even get to the road because of a handicap & they don't care. I absolutely hate this company. NO STARS are deserved! Not one honest person out of the dozens I've talked to! If I have to move this myself they will be responsible. I have asked and begged for way too long and spent hours upon hours on the phone with dozens of people that just don’t care. THERE IS ZERO COMMUNICATION FROM UPPER MANAGEMENT DOWN TO THE DRIVER. NO ONE I HAVE SPOKEN TO KNOWS THE STORY AND I HAVE TO REPEAT MYSELF AND EVEN THE PEOPLE THAT CAME OUT HERE. DON’T UNDERSTAND WHAT’S GOING ON EVEN THOUGH EVERYONE HAS SAID THEY WILL FOLLOW THROUGH AND MAKE THIS HAPPEN. IT IS THE WORST WORST WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD AND I AM SICK THAT WE ARE FORCED TO HAVE THEM. IT’S A SHAME THEY HAVE THE WORD “SERVICES” IN THEIR NAME! ⚠️ WARNING: UNRELIABLE SERVICE – DO NOT RECOMMEND REPUBLIC SERVICES For the past several collections, Republic Services has failed to pick up our trash despite us placing the bin out the night before with the trash pin clearly visible. The driver intentionally skipped our property while picking up our neighbors' trash on the exact same route. This is NOT an isolated incident – it has happened repeatedly, and every time I report it, I receive empty promises that an "operations supervisor" will contact me. To date, no one has called back. If you cannot provide basic, consistent service, what are we paying for? Republic Services charges premium rates but delivers substandard performance with zero accountability.

Republic Services of Greensboro is absolutely the most unreliable, subpar, unorganized, unpredictable, lousy customer service oriented company I have ever experienced. I would rather haul my trash to the dump myself than to depend on this company for trash and recyclable pick up service. They obviously cannot manage staff, schedules or customer service, as they more than suck at all of these. I am going to start a petition to end the business relationship they now have for the county. If you create a service agreement with an entity and they fail to deliver it, then you have the right to end the contract. Republic Services - YOU SUCK! You don't even deserve one star.

driver broke my trash bin after 2-3 pickups. they charged $35 fee to cancel services. worst experience with a trash company.
