I wish I had seen all these terrible reviews before I called Renewal By Andersen. It’s all true. The reps are very cordial, but they stay for 3 plus hours and their contracts are predatory. The reps made me verbal promises about my order that were not guaranteed in writing and therefore did not happen. I cancelled my order a few days after the second rep visited me for another 3 hours and measured everything again (conflicting measurements from the first guy). I was told by second rep that the window type I wanted and was promised was not available to me (by law!?) and I would have to order a more expensive window type. I complained to first rep about this and he said the second rep was wrong. But again, nothing in writing. Now that I’ve cancelled my order they want to charge me $17,000 for the cancellation. I am beyond frustrated.

Stopped at show room to setup an appointment on July 22 2024 no one ever called me, went on line set up a date for today at 2PM got a call at 115pm they could not keep the appointment. Well I guess they showed what to expect if you hire them broken promises. Not a company I will deal with

Dom and Anakin were on time and started right in. Dom was polite and easy to work with and he liked my music. Was polite to his coworker, Anakin saying please and thank you. They were very thorough in clean up. Dominque reviewed the window functions with me, even removing the window to show how easy to clean. The windows look good inside and out, even my neighbor thinks so. Thank you so much.

Better windows at Home Depot. Terrible quality control. I could write reams on how disappointed I am with this bad decision I have made using Anderson Windows, but I will let the pictures do the talking. The pictures will explain that when Anderson Windows advertised black windows, they are not black, just most of them is black. Look at the pictures, if you want to read more please do but the pictures tell the story. We are in the process of renovating our house that we have lived in for 20+ years. We saved enough where we could do all the work we needed to the level we wanted. No expense was going to be spared to get what we wanted. With that in mind I looked at every window company and even looked at buying them from Home Depot (wish I had done that now) and hiring a contractor to fit them. After reading all the reviews and doing some window shopping, we chose Anderson Windows. The salesperson came around and told us all the good things like "we build and fit the windows so you are worry free about any issues or problems because we have nobody to blame or point the finger at, except our company." SOLD! Fast forward to instillation day. Let me be VERY CLEAR. The gang of workers that were deployed to fit the windows were fantastic. Beyond reproach, so no part of this review is levied at the fitting crew. This review is about poor-quality control at the factory and shoddy and cheap workmanship on the actual product itself. It was not until we went to paint the window surround after the windows had been fitted that we noticed that beige plastic and beige corking had been used in the construction of the windows. Not an easy fix now that the windows have been installed. Just look at the picture of the black surround and how you can see the grout and beige plastic from the street. The windows look old already! We contacted Anderson and they said they are going to send someone over to paint the four corners of our 3 brand new windows to COVER UP their mistake........ I'll leave that with you. So here's an analogy for your enjoyment. Imagine you just purchased a $13,000 brand new car and as the salesmen drove it out to you it had one side mirror that was a different color. You point this out to the salesmen and he says don't worry I will get one of our techs to paint it for you right now, the factory must have messed up. Would you buy the car? No nor would I........ Use Anderson if you want, lots of people have and left 5 star reviews which is why I went with them. But just be aware that if there is a problem, don't believe the blurb, they are the same as a dodgy car dealer. That's the taste they left with me and I don't say that with glee as I have wasted $13k because it will only be a matter of time before we end up replacing them again because all I see now is Beige plastic on a so called black window. Needless to say I will not use or recommend this company to anyone. I do not recommend Renewal by Anderson windows. Without any animosity, I hope this review saves just one person from making the same error of judgement, expense and disappointment I encountered by choosing this company.

I have tried to block this company as I keep getting spam but they just won't stop. Every day I get a new email & every day I report & block them again. A totally harassing company. Nearly 12 months of blocking them & STILL getting their emails. I'm not even in the same country as them so no idea why they keep bombarding me with spam

Well let's see. The installers were excellent. The workmanship was acceptable. Very efficient in cleaning after the work was completed. Problem was the sales representative was a crook. Totally working off commission. There were no options to different window applications. Never mind 9K for a front door on a 300K house. Then after seeing the new windows we decided to add two additional replacements 6k . Ugh, this is after I requested a different sales rep, surprise same money grabbing crook, Look elsewhere.

I would give zero stars if I could. I am sick and tired of getting advertisements from them in the mail, and solicitors coming through my neighborhood. On July 4th of all days!!! Absolutely ridiculous. I will never buy Renewal by Andersen. Ever.
