We arrived in Italy on September 17th. I had a reservation for a car with in Napoli and they didn't give us the service because they asked for the international license and they didn't validate the license from the State of Washington USA . The lady who helped us with terrible customer service ; supposedly cancelled and until today they haven't reimbursed us anything! We have spoken with 3 different people and nothing! Terrible service! They haven't reimbursed me for the cancellation fee. Be careful with that. I had to rent another car directly with Herts that day !

My money was withheld without valid reason, no car was provided, and no policy was presented to justify their actions. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Do Not Use this company to book a car in the US. You pay before you travel and when you go to pick up your vehicle, there are no vehicles available. There was a cue of people in the same situation. Told to apply for a refund, we did and were told we couldn’t have a refund because we hadn’t called at the time. We had tried to call but couldn’t get through. Please don’t waste your money, totally ruined our plans and no money back

Never rent from this company especially where they offer deals such has free fuel, free GPS or insurance for multiple drivers. It is all a con. When you arrive to collect your car the actual car hire company you hire from will tell you they have never heard of this premium package. They don't give you free fuel and penalise you if you don't bring the car back with a full tank. They have never heard of insuring multiple drivers so their advice 'Do it at your own risk!' and the car has GPS anyway. It is all a scam by 'Rentalcars' to take more money from you for actually no extra benefit. It is false advertising but they know we can't do anything about it. On top of this when you complain they don't care. Avoid at all costs.

I rented car with them, first they charged me multiple time for the same reservation, then they change the type of the car to lower class and keep the price same, then when, I went to get the car the agent refused to rent to me. Avoid doing any kind business with them, very bad customer service

This is the worst service ever they scam you you put in one city and state. Next thing you know they change it charge your credit card and then tell you that you have to book a new flight in order to get reimbursed. What a %#!! Scam. T

The most awful experience. At first you believe how cheap the rental is. But later, when you already pay, they send you details for renting and that includes 1600 euro deposit! For a four day rental a cheap and small car who isn't worth it. I didn't have that amount of money on my credit card, I had it on debit card, but they insist on credit card. And then arrogant woman said, that I can pay additional 120 euro (for rental I paid 80) to have a 690 euro deposit. I refuse and took a car from another company for120 euro and 360 deposit money from debit card. That wasn't all from arrogant woman at Carwitz desk. The first second as I sat at the desk, she took 30 euro from my card as though I was too late. But I wasn't. The line before me was too long. People were waiting more than an hour to get to her desk. Although they know how many cars they have been reserved, they didn't put another employee at the desk. Addcar was totally different story. They employees were very nice and quick. I recommend that ones. So, at any case avoid Carwitz. Especially in Malta airport. They are rude, arrogant, tricky and slow. God knows what would happen if I took their car. I bet they would find something else to charge me with. Avoid them!!!
