The worst company ever. I have been a member for more than 26 yrs. At the beginning, this company had many places for exchange. Then , It became a waste of garbage. All resorts are not resorts, are full of all inclusive which you pay less when you get it with any online company. Moreover, If it is not all inclusive, they are star 1 places. You can get rid of RCI You can bank your week with another company. Now, I have to pay even if I am not the day of the check in. So, I pay for the exchange a big ton of money, then for not being there. At the end, I should get a regular hotel. Lets get together to get rid of this THIEVES

31 years of ownership membership number 1174-00180 ,RCI were once terrific , not so now , impossible to secure weeks but RCI continues to take our membership fees. Consultants in Singapore are blissfully unaware that ( eg) Kyneton in Victoria Australia is not “ just out of town “ referring to Sydney NSW but some 1000 Klms away. From our point of view ,this is , a loss of timeshare weeks , time wasting ,frustrating & a total waste of money Please have a senior consultant call and convince us why we should continue being financial members of RCI Australia

I have a weeks timeshare at Anfi, and I made the grave error of transferring my week to RCI. I have spent many unhappy and soul destroying hours trying to book a holiday. The website is so sloooooow that it is impossible. I put the date I wish to go on holiday, and then sit back and watch little dots go across my screen - try to refresh and then have to log in again. Luckily I will only lose 1 week with this awful company, as I have now given up. Anfi is great, RCI is the total opposite. If I ever did manage to find a holiday, let alone try to book it, I would get charged a fee, which is totally unjustified - cheaper to go to travel agent. Not a happy customer at all, and in my job, customer service is a priority and rammed down my throat every day, so I do not know how RCI are still in business.

I am tired of these people. I bought a timeshare at silver lake resort in kissieme florida. At the time was not told about the fees. However was told I would have no trouble in selling it. They lied, no one is interested in buying it not even the resort itself. On top of this I get called by RCI every couple of months to buy a package on top of my timeshare. I have bought a few however if you do not take them in a specific time frame you loose out on the package. I have been extremely ill and have not been able to take any of the packages. I have told them to transfer the money to the fees of the timeshare, but know they have no record of me buying a package. I just want my money back and not have to deal with the people. In Australia we have quid quo Pro. You. Ust have some thi g in exchange for your money, but these people don't seem to understand this. Don't but anything from RCI or timeshares managed by them they are all just liars and frauds.

I've owned a timeshare for 14 years and have only exchanged through RCI. It's really simple to exchange online and their agents are friendly and helpful. I've had gripes about some resorts but not RCI's fault. I like that you can buy an entire week got $200,00 and not even have to exchange. Overall I've been pleased with them.

I purchased a vacation packages from RCI I was sold a Cruise package for 2 regular cruise or une deluxe cruise and 1 weeks vacation rental. Price $3700.. this was a monthly payment plan for several months I chose the deluxe Cruise and it cost me an additional $1800 for booking to add my children the cabin only to get a decent room and add 2 children to the room. (a Deluxe cruise was Royal Carabien 7 day cruise out of Port Canaveral) I booked a vacation week in California again it was an additional cost of $1200 - but then the reservation was never confirmed. After 5 months of calling with information they were missing, them advising me they had the reservation back on but it was not for 2 bedroom I had request. After so many calls I request my funds back from the certificate that they did not provide. After threatning legal action. I did not want to deal with them any longer. Another Diego called back another day. He explained they had a policy on not refunding customers. I explained that they were in default of the contract not me. They did not provide me with the resovation that I made within my contract period. Diego pursueded me to try and book an alternative resort for me stay. They provided me 5 days to so. On the Thursday I tried to verify the web site but I did not have access. When I looked again on the Tuesday most area and dates (the more popular dates in spring) were giving me an air message access denied. I am going to be trying to recover my funds via legal action. DO not Buy any vacation Package from them take you money to a travel agent them can give more options for a lot less than these guys and you are pre buying so once they have your money you are at their merci. So far 7 day Royal Caribian cruise through them one state room will have cost me close to $6000 US, not counting meals, drinks or any on board cost. Bottom line, go see a travel agent the vacation packages are noting but a sells pitch. You can do much better on your own for far less money.

Many people are beginning to realise, sadly when it is too late and having wasted their money, how really expensive RCI is to them and their hard earned cash. RCI is a very complex system that has been intentionally designed using a points based system to confuse people and to ensure that people end up paying far more money than what they should. With the misleading system RCI end up being paid more money for an exchange and booking service than what they should. This explains how RCI as a company make their billions. RCI is not upfront about the cost of their service. They are happy to tell you that you can get an apartment in Tuscany for three hundred pounds for a week but are hesitant of informing you, that the total cost, including their hidden fees, will double the cost to consumers to six hundred pounds. Added to this RCI end up wasting people's precious time with their heavy handed sales pitch - a rep ended up showing my spouse and I pictures of his dog and children for 15 minutes rather than telling me what we wanted to know including the true cost of their service. For this reason there has been many lawsuits against RCI. A very disappointing and scandulous service. RCI need to stop confusing customers with their complex system, many of their customers are elderly and who are easily confused with a difficult to understand service. Bottom line: people need to be told outright what the true and entire cost is of booking an apartment with RCI annually.
