As someone who is late diagnosed autistic, I really didn't know what to expect going in. This has been a life changing experience that I highly recommend. The platform itself is very easy to use for neurodivergent folks, but the people are what really shine through. My evaluator and my therapist were fully engaged and incredibly supportive. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. It’s the best care I've received anywhere.

My evaluator made me feel safe and comfortable to share details about my life without judgement. She was thorough and answered all my questions. I don't think I could have had a better experience

When you sign up and start the process, they tell you that you will need two references to answer short surveys, which per their own FAQ section “should take no longer than 10–15 minutes per form.” I used their AI chatbot to figure out the best people to request references from, as I wanted to provide the best reference while also maintaining certain privacy about the matter (it’s literally a health matter). I submitted my references, and per their own advice told my references vaguely that it was part of a health screening (no mention of autism testing). My first reference got the email, completed a 10 minute assessment, and then was asked to follow up with a 40 minute assessment due by end of day. This assessment was never stipulated anywhere in the process to me, not even between her submitting the first survey and receiving this second one. Naturally, this led to questions about what the testing was for - since my reference had never agreed to completing essentially 1-hour in total of work, much less within 24 hours. This left me extremely uncomfortable- had I known the workload I either would have considered that in choosing my references or simply not continued with the testing process to protect my own privacy. You would think a company specifically dedicated to mental health evaluations would have more discretion in how it handles communication about a patient. I have not yet decided if I will continue with testing because I’ve now been put in a compromising position - I’ve had to ask if they will transfer my reference responses to another provider, because otherwise I just burned those references since I don’t want to put them through another round of questioning somewhere else.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We’re sorry that the additional reference questionnaire was unexpected and that the process created concerns around the time commitment and privacy of your assessment. We understand why having a reference complete an additional questionnaire without having clear expectations upfront would be frustrating, particularly when privacy was an important consideration. We take that concern seriously and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We’ve reached out privately to address the questions raised and provide clarification about our reference process and policies. We appreciate the feedback and will continue looking for ways to make expectations around the reference process clearer from the beginning.
