Molly Fechter-Leggett met with me for an adult autism evaluation. She was neuro-affirming and made me feel comfortable unmasking right away. I felt that everything I said was valued, and I wasn't being judged. I had some anxiety around the process, and she was always accommodating to me. It was genuinely the best possible experience I could imagine, and I'm so glad I did it. Molly explained the criteria and the diagnostic requirements and I felt she was taking the process seriously. Sometimes I have a fear of "diagnosis shopping" and just having someone tell me what I want to hear. Molly's evidence-based explanations of her analysis reassured me that I was getting an accurate diagnosis that had been compiled with thought and care. Prosper Health was also wildly affordable and I paid $60 for 3 appointments, which is insane. Their web portal was easy to navigate and I felt good about being able to regularly communicate with Molly. Thank you so much for everything!

Excellent company
Excellent company, very helpful. They understand neurodivergence and treat their patients with dignity and respect. And they set their patients up for success by offering services that actually help. They go the extra mile. It truly is a pleasure interacting with them.

Avoid Sarita Patel and the San Antonio Office
BEWARE OF PROSPER. I was told that they were friendly and kind, and they came highly recommended. This is one of the worst psych experiences I have ever had.
Sarita Patel is by far one of the worst clinicians I've spoken with. I started the process online and set up the appointments. Both were confirmed on my end, but not saved in the Prosper system. Okay, fine, technical issues happen all the time. I tried to schedule the appointments AGAIN, and this time they went through. When I set the appointments, I quickly got a message from her saying that the time I scheduled was not available. Okay, fine, I'll reschedule AGAIN. I filled out the forms, had my family members do their part, and I prepped ahead of time, wrote notes and spent time mentally preparing to make sure everything went smoothly. When it came for my appointment, Sarita Patel refused to conduct the appointment and has been treating me like I did something wrong. I logged in on time, and she asked me a couple of questions, and then started to say she cannot do the assessment and that she is refusing to reschedule me. I reached out to the office and was told that they refuse to reschedule me, but they would talk to the "clinical lead". This "clinical lead" then did not get back to me for days, so I had to proactively reach out to the office AGAIN, just to be told that the "lead" sent me an email I never got with "resources". They are shady and untrustworthy and will make up bs policies to cover their asses retroactively because they are too lazy to do their jobs. I am being told that she is allowed to refuse care based on the fact that I am in therapy, but not one single person outside of Prosper (including my therapist, who works for them part-time) mentioned that you cannot be in therpay and do an assessment at the same time. It's funny that this "policy" only came up when the person who had cancelled and resehcudled a bunch had to sit down and do their job. I DO NOT recommend this clinic.
EDIT to account for the clinic’s response:
You gaslit me and told me that I could receive an assessment if I was not in a therapy program. So I quit the program and informed y’all of that, and then you moved the goal post and said that I needed to have “consistent care” which I then proved to you that I have, OUTSIDE of the therapy program. Please stop trying to paint this as an issue I created. This is your office’s lack of clear, upfront, professional criteria and guidelines, lack of transparency, patient abandonment, and gross unprofessionalism. YOU are the ones changing the policy to suit you and trying to apply it retroactively. If being in a therapy program was such a hard stop for y’all, then why isn’t that mentioned on your website if in the intake paperwork? People in In AND Outpatient care get mental health assessments everyday, so it’s weird place to draw a line.
Response from Prosper HealthMay 5, 2026
We’re truly sorry that your experience with Prosper Health has felt frustrating and disappointing. That’s not the experience we aim to provide, and we understand how upsetting it can be to invest time and effort in an appointment that ultimately can’t move forward as planned.
We also want to acknowledge the scheduling issues you encountered. While technical or availability challenges can happen, we recognize that repeated rescheduling and unclear communication added to your frustration, and we regret that this process felt disjointed on your end.
Regarding the assessment, we do have a firm clinical policy that determines when we can proceed with services. This policy is in place to ensure that assessments are conducted appropriately and safely, based on each individual’s current level of care needs. This is not a decision made lightly or on a case-by-case basis, and it applies consistently across all clients.
We understand that this outcome was not what you were hoping for, and we’re sorry for the impact that it had. We've previously provided resources in your state that may help you access the type of care and support that best fits your current needs. If you would like those resources resent, we’re happy to do so.
We genuinely wish you the best moving forward and hope you’re able to connect with care that supports you effectively.

Wonderful experience
Dr. Debra Waters-Roman was very friendly and empathetic. She educated me about each step of the assessment process, and also checked-in with me throughtout the process to make sure I understood her and had my needs met. My assessment provided me with clarity and understanding about how I function as a human being.
