I had my subscription for 4 months. My hair was never frizzier, dryer, and so unhealthy while using the Prose products. Before prose my hair was healthy but fuzzy and frizzy. I also wanted more shine. The Prose product made it worse and when I started shedding an alarming amount of hair everyday; I said enough was enough. I cancelled Prose. I hope my hair recovers.

I purchased two subscriptions for hair for around 120 dollars and it took over one month to receive them. I tried them. I was not impressed with the products for the price. Not long after receiving my products, I was charged for my subscription that I didn't really need. I got a curling cream that is useless on my hair. One subscription that was auto ordered never even arrived. I went on the Prose Website and cancelled my two subscriptions for August and beyond. Today I was notified by my bank that I had been charged by Prose. I went back on the Website almost a month from when I cancelled, and my subscriptions had been restored as if I had not cancelled the. I know that I cancelled them in July because I saw the confirmation that my subscriptions were cancelled on the Website. Hence, I was charged for more supplements for August (I still don't have the ones from July) and even more useless curl cream and shampoo. I feel like it should not be this hard to order and cancel on a Website. You can only send an email to customer service and wait for help which takes over a day (I discovered that after I waited over three weeks to see why my order was taking so long.

Beware Buyer. Products are very good as are many products from other hair care companies. However, I never authorized any subscriptions and they automatically gave me a subscription and was going to charge my credit card. Thankfully I noticed this follow up email. Beware of credit card charges.

What went right? Products okay. Canceling is nearly impossible. I was sent and charged products I did not order. I set up recurring orders for every two months so I could decide if the cost was worth it. It was not. When I canceled after several screen of reassuring them I did want to cancel, they almost immediately sent me an order that wasn't supposed to be sent until August (again with a product I indicated I did not want). Don't fall for it. They are not a member of the Better Business Bureau, they make it nearly impossible to contact them, but they are very good at taking your money. BEWARE!

My boyfriend had to change his debit all because they are scam artists! I had cancelled the subscription 6 months ago and after dealing with them had confirmation they were all each cancelled. They charged him 5 times within after that time until now. Told him he needs to fight with the bank when it is them who has been charging. This company needs to go into a lawsuit. They are a scam company!

I have been a loyal Prose hair care customer since 2020. I participated in a monthly subscription for shampoo, conditioner, pre-shampoo mask and leave-in conditioner. ($100+/month) x 6 years….. In the beginning, I would receive emails giving me a “heads up” that the order was about to be prepared so that I could make changes or snooze it. After a brief period, they stopped doing that resulting in excess products, unwanted shipments, etc. Their website is not user friendly at all (you can’t just login to your account….they request your number for a text exchange) although their customer service was usually very good about accommodating changes or my request to snooze on the day I got the “your order has been prepared” notification by text (no more for warning days early) Today, at 3:22 am, I received a text notice of my order being processed. I attempted to snooze first thing this morning and received a response that my order was “being prepared” and that as a result, I could not cancel or make changes. Incredible that they would not snooze (especially after 60+ orders on subscription.) I told them I was going to cancel altogether….and they emailed back that they cancelled my subscription altogether for me. Ok. Fair enough. If this is how they handle loyal customers….run. RUN. I was happy with their overpriced hair products and happy to pay for the convenience of delivery for 6 years. I thought they were a starter company and wanted to support them. I guess they no longer need the support of customers and are willing to sacrifice loyalty for …. I don’t know what. Nobody else I know uses their products and I can purchase some fantastic products at the salon for the same price point.
