I had already purchased an automatic litter box that was enclosed and one of my cats wouldn't go in it. So I tried an open top one and it just was not steady enough for my big boys. It rocked back and forth and it scared them. After lots of research I discovered this popur box. Much to my delight, all of my big boys fit in there. I recently even got a picture of two of them in there at once. My 18-pounder and my 20 pounder. This box can handle it. And the way it's made it's completely sturdy. It sits even on the floor so that no matter how hard they jump into it, it doesn't move. It only moves when it goes into the Clean Cycle and then it lifts up and backwards. And it has the largest waist receptacle that I've seen on the market. My previous box waste receptacle was 10 L and I thought that was big until I got this popur. I have four big cats and what a Time Saver. If you have large cats, this is the box for you! Fyi... the other automated box I bought 3 months ago rarely gets used anymore. Three out of the four cats prefer the new one over the old one.

We rescued two cats. We had never owned cats before. They are now an important part of our family, and there is nothing that I would not do for them. We originally got the litter robot. What a waste of money! It stopped working six months after we bought it. I went to their customer service to see about getting help or recommendations and was basically told I was on my own! No support of any kind. My daughter came across your system, and I made the purchase. I am so glad I did! It has worked great and so much better and easier to maintain than the litter robot. I recently ordered some maintenance items and one of my orders came right away and the other one did not. I reached out to their customer service and was blown away by how they handled the situation. What a great company! It’s one thing to have a superior product, but to couple that with a company that seems to care and will go the extra mile for their customers is priceless, and so rare in this day and age! I am a client for life! I have already recommended this system to others because of how well it works, but now that I have had firsthand knowledge of their customer service, I am their biggest fan!

Bought the S7 in Aus a week a ago. The app is totally crap. None of the options work. Emailed them, no reaponse. The app never matches up with what the litter box is doing. Inputs -> hear a beep to say function valid -> no action/function carried out. My cheap chinese litterbox had a better app than that. Was planning to use it for another couple of weeks, but decided against it. I know there may be people who love the product, I'm just not one of them. I'll be taking my $900 back thank you. I agree that the litter box is totally safe... Because it never works. It's as if I used the Monkeys paw to wish for a safe auto litter bot. Yeah it's got an interesting design but until they have an app that works, don't get it folks. Save your money.

I have had two Popur S5s for years and all of my cats (and me) love them! I have 4 of my own cats and 4 foster cats at any given time as I foster for a non-profit rescue. Just got the S7 and so far so good - I am loving the upgrades. Both are great options. You won’t be disappointed. Best automatic litter boxes hands down - and we have tried MANY! Your life will be SO much easier! I will be saving up for another one!

We got our first Popur X5 in fall of 2025. We had a cat who stopped using our LR for no reason. After some trial and error we found the cat wanted an open top litter box. Once we got the X5 both of our cats instantly jumped in - they pretty much stopped using the LR so we decided we would get a second Popur. Now we have 2 units and the cats like them so much they tend to set them off more than necessary. We did have a customer service interaction with Popur, and I can say that it went extremely well. The company is honest, prompt and so far has been more than we would have expected. Thank you Popur.

This has been SO great for our 3-cat household. We’ve had it a month or so. We had zero problems with them utilizing it and it’s been amazing not to have to scoop 4 litter boxes daily. Now we just use this ONE! Also, because it scoops for us, our dog hasn’t snuck any more “litter treats”. It stayed one time in the closed position, but that’s because the waste reservoir was full and we didn’t realize it and didn’t know it would do that so the cat peed on the plastic mat next to the box. Luckily they have a way to manage this if it happens when we’re out of the house, so we simply adjusted the settings through the app so it won’t happen again AND will notify us when full.

J'ai découvert Popur en septembre 2025. Je cherchais une litière automatique. J'ai 3 chats, et j'ai failli en adopter en 4eme ( malheureusement décédé 😥). Je sais que si un autre petit chat de la rue se présente, je l'adopterai. Du coup, pour me décharger de la corvée litière, j'ai décidé d'investir. Sur différents forums, j'ai entendu parler de Popur. Mais pas du tout en France. J'ai vu le projet Kickstarter pour le modèle S7. C'était risqué, mais ça semblait tellement bien ! J'ai craqué, et patienté jusqu'en novembre pour la livraison. Tout s’est bien passé. J’habite en France. Aujourd'hui, la litière fonctionne super bien. J'utilise une litière agglomérante du supermarché. Le bac se remplit bien. Mes chats l’ont utilisé directement, même si j'avais gardé 2 anciennes litières classiques. Ils n’y vont plus du tout. Ils ont accès à l'extérieur mais font leurs besoins dans la Popur. J'ai eu un épisode de diarrhée. Et là c'était collé sur la grille. Mais ça s'est nettoyé facilement. L'application vient de sortir, et rajoute des fonctions intéressantes. Je n'ai aucune odeur chez moi. Plus de pipi devant la litière comme j'avais parfois avant Popur. Forcément , c’est toujours clean 😂 C'est devenu un appareil important pour moi, qui me facilite la vie autant que mon aspirateur robot 😂 Au début sur se dit qu'on abuse un peu de s’acheter un truc pareil, mais finalement , ça rend tellement de services au quotidien ! Il faut que j'achète des sacs Popur. Dommage, pas encore disponible sur Amazon. Il faut prendre directement sur le site. Je conseille fortement cette litière, je n'aurais vraiment pas mal à me passer aujourd'hui ! Merci Popur pour cette invention 🫶🏻🥰

We have 4 cats and I have had an automatic litter box for over ten years. When my last one died, I researched other brands. I was tired of the monthly full clean (take the whole thing apart, scrub, put back together). I came upon Popur's campaign for the S7. It was nearly 4 times as expensive as my old one but after watching countless videos and reviews I bit the bullet. While I waited for it to be released, I panicked. How could I justify spending so much on a litter box??? 2 of our cats are high pee-ers, and our oldest is 14 years old. Would it work for us? I reached out to customer service who kindly agreed to cancel my order but encouraged me to give it 30 days. They reassured me with stories of their own experience with it. So I kept my order - they offered to expedite so it was a win-win. I had to scoop manually until my order arrived so time was of the essence. When my order arrived I put it together without issue. They offer both video and a diagram instructions. I used both but only to clarify a step or two. 3 of the 4 cats took to it immediately. The 14 year old promptly peed on some pillows in my living room - TWICE. So I put an old litter pan near the Popur for several days and didn't clean it out...gross. Eventually I moved it ten feet away to a room where I didn't need to see it. I also ran the Popur while feeding treats to the 14 year old - LOTS of treats. After a full 7 days, I got rid of the old pan and all 4 cats are now happily using the Popur. We've had it a month and I've only emptied the tray once - however, we had the transition pan and we also have another pan in our lower level. I'm sure going forward I will be changing it more frequently but I'm told maybe once a week. That's far better than my old auto box which needed emptying every other day. Changing the liner was super easy - just like taking out the trash. There is zero smell coming from the box. Occasionally (maybe once a week?) I wipe all external surfaces with a disposable wipe because of my high pee-ers. Also, I bought stick-on litter box shields to increase the height and prevent pee-over. I found them online at the big "A". I would have bought Popur's but they haven't released the ones for the S7. I am thrilled with my purchase! Hopefully the unit will last a long time. I have heard that Customer Service is happy to help with repairs down the line so that's comforting. Plus I've already had good experiences with them. I can't imagine having to manually scoop after 4 cats forever! I'm glad those days are over!
