I was charged for a missed video ($50)when I was waiting for video consult . Then I called the 800 number and found out that although I am American and because I was traveling as a tourist in France they could not consult with me(?) why did they not tell Me ? i was sick with covid and after 1/2 day waiting and on line for ever ,i was charged $50 for a video consult that never happened ?! Shame on plushcare

PlushCare app was extremely easy to set up and schedule a first appointment with a healthcare provider. I got an appointment early on a weekday within 2 hours. Dr. Allison Barbee was very helpful and professional. Her recommendation for treatment was spot on and I was feeling better within 24 hours.

I downloaded the app and had my first appointment where I was prescribed an antibiotic for a viral illness. Was told it was bronchitis. Was also prescribed a cough medicine for a cough that was very productive. When I researched the medicine (tessalon perles) every source of info (CDC, Mayo Clinic and Web, MD) stated it was not for a productive cough. The day after the z-pac finished I awoke to worsening of symptoms and scheduled another visit with Dr. Eric Sullivan. During the short visit he accused me of being disrespectful and combative. When I explained I am in an immuno-compromised household and only want to feel better and was relying on him, a trained medical professional his response was to tell me he was terminating the call. Time for a trip to an urgent care center to see a Doctor in person. Should have done that weeks ago, but tried to “trust the system” to no avail. We shall see if the money I wasted will be returned once the credit card statement comes in. My only advice—don’t waste your health or money on this company as it will be a waste.

This service is just an opportunistic money grab, cashing in on the Covid induced telehealth shift. Every aspect of it is incompetent. The doctor (Linda Alic) I spoke with was willing to (and did) prescribe a medication that she clearly knew very little about. She started to prescribe double the starting dose until I questioned it, having researched it ahead of time. She then fumbled around and corrected it. At times she appeared to be making scripted comments designed to get me to purchase more services. The point of the service seems to be to maximize charges by having you fill out questionnaires so they can charge you to send rote answers to them, suggest lab tests that in my case I’d already had, so they can bill you to read them back to you, etc. They also submitted claims to my husband’s insurance rather than mine. When I told them about it, they removed the claims from his account, and then reapplied them to him a second time. The customer service reps are minimally trained people sitting in their living rooms with their dogs, and have no understanding of how anything works and no ability to answer your questions. For weeks after I quit the service I got reminder emails to make another appointment. There’s no unsubscribe option, so I just sent them to spam, where I assume they’ll be piling up for eternity. I look forward to their obligatory canned response.

Hi, you have a great digital tool which is very user friendly. Dr Siddiqui was amazing as he diagnosed my issue in mere five questions and after taking my medication- just three dosages, I felt as if was not sick at all. He followed up as well. Just some observation and help if I can get - I joined with no insurance option as I am traveling to USA and my insurance is from Bermuda. While preparing for my reimbursement claim, I realized that there is no option to get diagnosis, prescription and fee payment receipt in a pdf format to be able to that. I did ask your customer rep who has not answered since Wednesday. In fact I can’t even view my fee payment on the app.
