I am utterly furious and deeply disappointed with the spice product I purchased from Pit Boss. I initially had high hopes for the product, but to my dismay, it turned out to be expired by over a month! It is completely unacceptable to receive a product that's past its prime. When I reached out to their customer service in hopes of getting a refund, they callously informed me that they don't do returns on spices, citing a clause buried deep within their website. However, nowhere on the purchase page did it mention that they were selling expired items! This is not only misleading but also a breach of trust. I feel deceived and cheated by Pit Boss, and their refusal to provide a refund for an expired product only adds insult to injury. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied, and I strongly advise others to be wary of purchasing any spices from this company. Such disregard for customer satisfaction is utterly appalling, and I am now left with nothing but a useless, outdated spice product. My trust in Pit Boss has been shattered, and I will not be considering them for any future purchases.

Have a pro series have been thru 5 control bords 2 temp probs 1 ingnighter in 3 years, in arizona where the company is located this is covered under lemon law. Pitboss keeps giving me reasons why it is my fault such as I need to unplug everytime after using and I am not starting correctly. When I bought it, it had a 10 year warranty, now they have called me a lier on that and told me I falsified paperwork. Will never by one again and this is not my first one. This product has gone down after Danson lost law suit against treager, I will buy a treager now.i had paint peal off lid ( cover color) I was told to go to my local hardware store and buy the paint to paint it. This is a b,s product. Costumer service is bad, product is bad. Should have kept the first one, still running no problems I hear.

Ok quality, Lowe's delivered not one but two damaged grills in the span of three days and I understand this is a Lowe's issue, but trying to contact Pit Boss to get missing hardware and customer service was non existent. Their literature that is included with the grill even says call customer service at Pit Boss first before attempting to return items. What a joke. Sorry I purchased a Pit Boss grill.

I bought my Pro Series 1600 PSE grill on 6-24-23 and after I did the burn and everything was good until the Friday before 4th of July. Started it up and got an ignitor failure code. Contacted Pitboss and was on hold for over 30 minutes. Long story short its over a week later and they still haven't shipped my part. DO NOT BUY FROM PITBOSS. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AFTER THEY GET YOUR MONEY.

The grill is great when it works. Parts break quickly and for no reason. Customer assistance is extremely poor. 5 year warrant is useless because majority of parts are on unknown back order. Buy something better

My wife bought me a smoker for 2023 Christmas, I picked it out, very excited to try it out. To start out I could not get it to the temperature that was recommended for seasoning the smoker, called Pitboss and they were very quick on sending out a replacement element, that seamed to resolve that issue. I used it a couple more times after that with no problems. I was smoking some ribs back in March and it just quit working, had to finish them in my oven. apparently the one that I have has no fuse or resettable circuit breaker. So I called Pitboss for that warranty item and they said they are on backorder and should be in, in a couple of weeks. So I waited, no response from them so I called them again, always a long wait time and have never had anyone pick up the phone I always do the call back option, anyway they still do not have the part and now and its June, they cannot tell me when it will be in, so I asked about replacing the whole smoker, only to be told they do not do that. Its now June, 3 months of not being able to use the new smoker I just received as a gift. My wife is upset because she bought it for me and I'm upset because all I can do is look at and not use it. At this point I don't think I would recommend a pitboss product to anyone I know.

I have the cover made especially for my pellet and gas combo. It’s just 2 years old and the handles from the grill ripped the cover so badly I need to replace it. Since I am over the year warranty they want me to pay for a new one. Thus us a design flaw and the Company should be fixing it and not making the consumer pay. The grill is good but the customer service is not worth it.

I purchased a Pit-Boss Ultimate griddle in April and have used it a few times since. Unfortunately, the ceramic surface - which is supposed to be non-stick and was the main selling point of this griddle for me - became charred with regular use and cannot be cleaned using the methods the company suggested, including with the degreaser product they sell specifically for that purpose. I connected with the Pit Boss customer care team to get some help, and they informed me that the 5-Burner Ultimate Griddle is now discontinued. As a result, they won't be getting any more cooktops in, so they can't replace it for me. They offered no other solution and no compensation - they just told me to use extra butter and oil to try to mask the issue, and that they have other people with similar issues but that using extra fat when you cook can mask the issue. That's not a solution, that's a hack, and it doesn't allow me to use the product as intended (or in a healthy way). I feel like I got screwed over by Pit Boss, and my hard-earned money has been wasted. If I knew this product would fail as quickly and as badly as it did, I would have purchased a Blackstone and not the Pit Boss. These guys don't stand behind their product, and their customer service didn't address my needs nor compensate me appropriately (at all) for the failure of their product. I am very disappointed in my purchase and the Pit Boss brand. I would not recommend their product.
