Pilot Freight Services A large 124-pound box of furniture was delivered to our residence on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. Extra was paid for the item to be placed inside of our home. The delivery man stood on my walkway and said he refused to bring the package inside. Yes, it is COVID times. He and his other delivery helper had masks on, and I did as well. I am also 8 months pregnant, paid extra for it to be delivered into my home and took pre-cautions by wearing a mask. I insisted he bring it inside like we paid for and when he did, he put it up against our door to exit. I told him he MUST bring it to the hallway because leaving it there was a fire hazard! He said no and argued with me but did eventually bring it to the hallway. VERY rude delivery personnel!

Believe me, I had no choice but to use them because the website I bought from used Pilot Freight Services for their products. That website I bought from (Dream Fish Tanks) was creating a huge headache with my order that took nearly half a year to finally fulfill. First time, they blamed Pilot Freight Services when I told them the aquarium I bought arrived damaged. It was an acrylic aquarium that was practically broken in half with major cracks on all corners, and had a shattered top. After another 2 months, a second shipment was sent out. Two weeks passed before I got any shipping info. Then, Pilot FS gave a link to make an appointment. They cancelled the appointment I made then a week later, made their own appointment for Friday (Feb 5th). They gave a time frame which I then wasted my time on because it was out for delivery the entire day and never arrived. Wasted my whole day waiting. Second day (Saturday), also kept saying out for delivery, so just to be safe, I cancelled all my plans and stayed home. Again, shipment never arrived. I called their "24/7" service several times but was waiting for an agent for 30 minutes before I finally gave up and hung up. I don't have time to deal with this kind of crap. [Edit] Called them the week after for 3 days straight and finally got a hold of someone. Agent probably didn't know what happened to my shipment because all I heard were excuses from "we couldn't get in contact with you" (I was available at the time) and "there was a dock check". WHAT dock check? Where's my product that STILL says it's "out for delivery"? She said she'd called back in 20 mins, an hour passed and I got no call so I called back again. It went to the automated menu so I gave up. I don't know WHO actually has time to deal with this company. Their tracking system lies and tells you your package is somewhere but it's really not. This has been going on for 3 weeks and Pilot Freight Services hasn't been helpful at all. My merchant (that I purchased from) also been washing their hands clean of this situation.

Well I can tell by the previous reviews that I am not alone in my experience - customer service is non existent. Over the last 3 days I have tried calling multiple times but they end up disconnecting the call after 15 mins on hold, filled out the contact us form twice and have emailed - no response. Pilot are meant to be delivering a shipment from Vancouver to Calgary - shipment has been waiting pick up since Jan 21 and has an estimate delivery date of Jan 29 - it is Jan 28 and the status has not changed in over a week. Still says pending pick up.

Ordered a large screen tv from Walmart two years ago. Pilot was the shipper. They sent it in an 18 wheeler that could not bring it to my house, had to go meet the truck at a truckstop in town and bring it home myself. Just ordered a new big screen tv from Walmart on the 6th of Jan. 2021. Supposed to be delivered on the 13th. Then on the 14th. No it's the 15th and cannot contact anyone at Pilot on the phone. Wait hours on the phone for someone to pick up listening to their recording about how great a shipper they are. NOT Maybe I'll get this order this month but then again, maybe not with Pilot as the shipper. Worse shipping company I've ever dealt with. Walmart, Amazon and BestBuy and whatever other retailer uses this company needs to make a change. ASAP.

Worst shipping company. Placed order through Car ID and was updated through email that my order had been shipped. When I tried to track the order I was told shipping method was unknown and shipper was unknown. I called customer service to find out what was going on and that is when I found out Pilot had my order. I was also told they were supposed to call me to schedule an appointment for delivery which never happened. So I was given the I formation needed to try to contact them. I tired calling several days in a row and spent on average 1 hr on hold per time that I called before hanging up. If you can help it at all do not use this company for any reason.

Awful experience. Never called to tell me they were on way. They showed up and were scheduled to deliver new tv and help remove old one. They did not help remove old one as the order form said and simply stated they didn’t have tools to help?! They did NOT wear masks even when asked to. I have an infant and we are high risk! Completely disgusting and unacceptable! Worst company ever!

Placed an order for a television December 21, 2020. Received a call today, January 12,:2021, the day my wife took off of work for the delivery scheduled for sometime between 11am and 6pm. The caller simply said that the delivery would not be here and was handed off to another shipper. What the f... so now we have another week, among it a just days shy of a month for a delivery which started with an order at Sam’s club of a TV. Shi tiest delivery company I have had to deal with in the nearly 60 years of my life.
