I am updating my review. At first the support was great. So I opted to port in my 1.800 number, for $35. It took over a month to port in (and just did yesterday 10/10). Coincidently the day after I left a 2 star review here. This is good service, but the plans for extra functionality are still not released. "snippets" for texts was the one we were waiting for. I really hope their service returns to the quick and effiicient service we received when we first signed up.

Andrew, although it took more than a month to port my number, you did do your job. Now, I need the same service that Angela Shulz, Chris Khoo, Seth Davis, Nathan Allan and Ben Garvey got. I still could not receive voice calls, send and receive sms/mms for more than 3 months now despite numerous email to the help desk. Just send me a private message to my phone2 number (281) 487-5851 to give me an answer when I ask you if this is a scam. I told you just be truthful and I will never bug you again. Economy under Biden-Harris sucks and everybody got to do what they have to do. Shiet happen. I understand. Text me pls so I don’t wait for nothing.

Phone2 is a promising new player in the business internet phone market. Potentially the best bang for the buck. Pros: (1) has a one-time lifetime payment plan, (2) call quality and text messaging is good, (3) it has a web app!, (4) it supports OTP, (5) multi-user and multi-number support. Cons: (1) Canadian SMS functionality is broken, (2) web and mobile app is very rough around the edges (read: buggy). Actual customer service quality is still TBD for me. For comparison, I've paid and tested the following services for business purposes - Hushed, TextMe, TextNow, Line2, Ooma, and RingCentral. If you've had SMS issues, you probably requested a Canadian phone number!

I purchased the LTD and wanted to port my business line in July! This company has zero customer service and it took 8 weeks to get a link to the form. I have filled out the form and paid the $35 port fee six weeks ago. My old carrier notified me the transfer completed a week ago. I have called, sent emails and messages through FB messenger … NO RESPONSE!!! My business has no phone service because Phone2 cannot do their part! If you’re looking to get service from them…DON’T!

Affordable, convenient and most importantly, the number can be shared with 4 people, all get the same call whether you are on your desktop or cell phone. I purchased their lifetime deal back in June, I even persuaded my brother to get the same deal not too long ago. Having a virtual number on the go for personal or business use is always welcome especially when you don't have to worry about future payments but crossing fingers the company stays afloat so we can enjoy the service for a long term. Their app is also functional and I've never missed a call or an SMS message. The team has been very cooperative especially when I noticed a non service related issue, I reached out to them and both Andrew and Alexandra were working on resolving it which shows they are attentive to their customers issues and go above and beyond to help resolve the issue within a reasonable time frame. Only super heroes can get things done with a snap of their finger, so that is not expected of us normal people with basic problems :) needless to say, I am satisfied thus far and of course more feedback will come in the future whether it is positive or negative. Keep up the good work.

I signed up for this despite the questionable reviews. The number that was assigned to me was previously used for spam, so I would call people and they were immediately warned that I was a potential spammer. I contacted Phone2, they said they would take care of it. That was more than a day ago now. Emailed them 2x, no reply. seems that the reviews are accurate, I'll be moving on. More information. After receiving zero response I decided to discontinue the free trial. There is NO WAY to cancel the trial that will convert into a paid subscription. After posting this review, Andrew from Phone2 reached out to me and offered me a FREE 1 year trial. Then they banned email address from logging in. This company seems to either be filled with incompetence or worse malevolence. This company is a disaster. After communicating with their founder he made me all kinds of promises, then some other person replied to this review, this company is dangerously under managed. I predict they won't last the year. If you paid for the "lifetime" membership, don't hold your breath.

Ported my number over 3 weeks ago. Business Line has been dead, poor support they haven’t responded in 5 days. Avoid at all costs.

I subscribed to their service and sent 5 messages with text ‘hi’ to myself, none of which were delivered. When I contacted support they said that ‘automated messages are not allowed’, whatever that means. When asked for a refund, they told me that they have refunded the transaction, however, when I didn’t receive the money back even after a month, I contacted them again and now they are saying that they can’t help as they can’t find my account! Edit: Not sure, how sending hi from your panel is considered as automated messaging. And I have never received any refund from you, as I had mentioned in my dozens of emails.
