Totally incompetent. I had a new script sent by my doctor. They reviewed and then for unspecified reasons refused to fill it. I chatted with them and they figured out their mistake and told me it would be ready in a few hours. Not true. Still waiting a day later. This is the sorriest excuse of a "pharmacy" and should be put out of business. This is in addition to the fact their interface and technology sucks. I can't wait until Florida Blue drops them.

I was absolutely ‘thrilled’ by the blazing speed of Amazon Pharmacy. My Zepbound prescription, which I assumed would be handled with Amazon-like efficiency, took two whole days just to be entered into their system.(pharmacy reviewed) Two days! I guess they needed that time to ponder the mysteries of the universe. The anticipation was unbelievable – I almost forgot I was even waiting as I lounged around sipping tea in slow motion. When I finally called customer service to check in, I was treated to world-class wisdom. They kindly advised me to transfer my prescription to another pharmacy. Wow, what a novel idea! Who knew that a pharmacy could suggest I get my medicine somewhere else instead of actually providing it? I really appreciate the pro-tip – I might as well finish knitting a sweater while I wait for their magical service. In the end, this one-star rating is absolutely deserved. I’m left with nothing but admiration for their incredible efficiency (or lack thereof). I’ve never seen a pharmacy turn waiting into such an adrenaline sport. If you’re looking for the thrill of standing around getting zero useful support, Amazon Pharmacy has got you covered. Otherwise, I’d suggest literally going anywhere else.

I have been using and getting the same prescription medication monthly for the past year, and as of recent, the 'pharmacist review' phase, which they say can take up to 24 hours, has exceeded 72 hours until I get on the chat with them, and then all of a sudden they release my medication for purchase, claiming they have a large backlog of 'unnecessary medications.' So there is no SLA they are held to (service level agreement) to provide timely 'reviews.' I don't think any medications with prescription are 'unnecessary.' There is no way to address direct complaints, and I have been experiencing this issue for months. I purposely submit my renewals early, and then it sits with them for days until I chat with them. There is absolutely zero need for a 'pharmacist review' when nothing in my history has changed, and it is the exact same medication and dosage as historical. It is absolutely ridiculous that a random Amazon 'pharmacist' is going to override my doctor. Get out of here. Do better. The excuse I get each time is 'backlog.' Not a good one in my opinion. It's a joke and a reason for them to hold medications. Asinine. User's recommendation: Steer clear.

After years of fighting with Walmart pharmacy, I decided to give Amazon a try and have been pleasantly surprised! Transferring prescriptions was easy, refills are easy, delivery is quicker than Walmart and is hassle-free. Yes, YOU need to stay on top of things and you need to order refills before you run out. I've been using Amazon for months and have had zero issues - all of my kids use it as well - NO issues.

Beware - very frustrating experiences. Horrible service. Would not use again.

WISH I COLD GIVE ZERO STARS!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT USE AMAZON PHARMACY!!!!!! So I have been continually sick with vomiting and generally upset stomach for 2 weeks Dr prescribed Zofran, my insurance won't cover. Amazon claims to be less expensive and that they take Goodrx. NOT TRUE!! No Goodrx,no coupon at all $594.60 Amazon price,$28 Goodrx price. Transfer RX? Problem, none of my local pharmacies will call Amazon anymore because Amazon doesn't answer the phone. When I asked Amazon about this they said yes well the phones are busy. DO NOT LET YOUR DR. SEND ANYTHING TO AMAZON!!!

Absolutely do NOT use Amazon Pharmacy! They will only cause angst and frustration. The agents lie. They say deliver to your door. This is not true if you live in an apartment. If pkg does not fit in mailbox, they will not deliver to your door. Then when you need to transfer the rx from Amazon to another pharmacy they’ll tell you that there aren’t any prescriptions for them to transfer! If you want to be on the phone for hours and hours getting it resolved then Amazon Pharmacy is your place to go. Otherwise stick with your local pharmacy and pay for same day delivery, it’s worth it !! Also, agents will make you think they transferred you to a supervisor, when actually it’s just another agent.

It's a shame so many of us were pushed into using Amazon Pharmacy. Everything from ordering to receiving is totally screwed up. I received a text telling me one of my prescriptions was due to be refiled so I clicked to refill. Two days later the shipment was stalled in Arizona at UPS for some reason. I then called Amazon customer service only to have them tell me it was too soon to refill. I've been now waiting for over a week for them or someone to work out the mess. Nobody seems to know how to fix what happened.
