Hi! The orandas are selected by random, hence they are labeled as assorted. the photo is just an illustration, it doesn't necessarily mean you will receive that "exact" fish, otherwise we'd need to clone thousands of the same fish.

I am one of the owners here and I do not personally take any of the calls but am more than happy to speak with our teammates and see what may have went wrong. Do take note, we only guarantee live arrival if FedEx is used, this is part of the disclaimer that needs to be agreed to at checkout before the order can be proceeded with. USPS can take anywhere from 2-4 business days and though our team packs as well as they can, there can be varying factors when the post office delivers livestock. Our fish are always packed accordingly per weather and we always use insulation in our packages but extreme weather can cause heatpacks and/or insulation to not properly work.
