Our dog doesn't look like our dog any more. She shaved her completely but we also had to pay for dematting. Dog had diarrhea when we came home. Not happy at all. Not going back to this lady.

I’ll never go back to pet smart for no reason! The lady I was dealing with in the grooming has no business dealing with the public! She is very arrogant. I told her I didn’t need her attitude. They refused to do my 3 dogs ! Not putting up with an attitude! You treat a customer with respect. I talked to the manager he said he couldn’t make them groom my dogs ! Real manager!! lol !! I arrived for my dog's appointment and noticed a very small puppy being taken in right before me so I slipped on my dogs muzzle so as not to scare the small puppy. I went in and the groomer refused to service my dog as she very snippily told me it didn't matter how long the muzzle had been on it was their policy not to groom if a dog had a muzzle on when they entered. I advised her why I had put on the muzzle, and she again stated it did not matter very rudely as if I would lie to them about something like that. She said she would call the manager if I needed what she told me verified. I took my shot records away from the groomer and left very upset. I went outside and then returned still confused as to why I would lie about the issue and said I would like to speak to the manager as there was nothing posted anywhere in the store or online about this muzzle rule. My dog was very loving and affectionate with the manager and not in any way aggressive.

Took my pup to get groomed and cut when i picked up my pup i didn't recognize him due to his bad hair cut and my pup developed a sink rash for the razor they use and from cut to close to his sink mine poor pup never again will i use Petsmart Groomer don't no how to put pictures on here but i wish i could

I was at the Avon, Indiana store today (early evening) and had an awful experience. I frequent this location because my veterinarian is with Banfield in Avon, and he is a wonderful doctor. In addition, I had not had a bad experience at this store until today. The young man at the register was incredibly rude and dismissive. I thought maybe he was having a bad day, but he was overly polite with the customer before me who had a different racial identity than me. As soon as I said hello, he just looked at me as if I was the worst thing to happen to him. He didn’t even bother to acknowledge my greeting, just kind of rolled his eyes. As I was putting my card in the machine to pay, he proceeds to pull out his phone to start texting. I take my receipt and of course say thank you because I am polite. Unfortunately, he barely even looked at me and just shuffled the bag towards me. Why are you working at a retail store if you only want to deal with certain people or have issues for whatever reason with people who are of a different racial, ethnic, or gender than you? More importantly, why is PetSmart hiring someone like that as an employee? Since he was overt in his rudeness, I’m fairly confident he has exhibited this behavior before towards certain customers. I always approach sales associate with kindness knowing they often deal with lots of crap from customers. Sadly, because of this one experience, I will only go to that location for my veterinarian. I will not spend my money on pet products at this location again after eight years of shopping for my dogs at the Avon location. I would rather make the drive to the Allisonville Road location.

I wanted to make a grooming with one of the groomers. Called the store they would not book. They said I need to talk to her. Call tomorrow. I called the next day they said she is not in. After few days I went and I booked online with another groomer. The day of appointment I received a call that their groomer is not coming and they had to reschedule me. They rescheduled me a few days later on Mother's Day. On Mother’s Day I go there and they say his vaccination has expired a couple days ago! They won't accept him. I said then why you didn't tell me when you rescheduled me. They are like oh well!! I said pls put me on schedule so when I get the vaccination I have an appointment. I will do it tomorrow. They refused. They called the manager and he was the rudest person I have ever seen in my life. Not only he was not apologetic to what they have put me through but he was externally aggressive and yelling at me. I said why didn't you tell me when you rescheduled me so I don't have to come on Mother's Day! He said he does not give a sh…. it was Mother's Day!! He did not try to fix the issue by giving me another appointment in future so when he gets his vaccination I don't have to wait another week again. His hair are getting all tangled. Someone should give a management training to this man! And a customer care training. They did not care they have cancelled on me once and now they have brought me back again to tell me NOW that I am in store his vaccination had expired. I have been their customer for 5 years and that is how they treat me!!! This is PetSmart on corner of Tatum and Shea.

Had the cat tree climber I was looking for, however, cashier/employee offered zero assistance moving the 60 inch climber to my car. I left disappointed that a young person would not offer assistance to an older adult.

They didn’t give our dog a bath Smelled worse than when we took her in. Her ears look like they used a chainsaw on them plus didn’t clean her earwax.
