My appointment was for 11:30 06/29 for my golden doddle. I called to let the know I would be a few minutes late due to road work. They informed me that the appointment was canceled at 7am by phone message. By this time I’m in their parking lot. Needless to say I was very upset that I now couldn’t do any errands due to the extreme heat that day of not leaving my dog in the car. So back home I went. I looked at my husband’s phone that had no calls from this Pet Smart store in Wesley Chapel Florida. I did receive an email at 1:48 pm(Saturday) saying the 11:30 am(same day) appointment was canceled. In speaking with their manager that day they would take care of my dog with a free grooming. So I would wait for a call from the grooming dept. That never happened. After speaking to a manger on 07/03 the following Wednesday he would now only do 20% off. Very disappointing on how one hand doesn’t know what the other hand is doing as far as these managers respond. Standing by their word is worth nothing. But telling 20 people helps spread the word on how unreliable Pet Smart is. So that’s my mission.

I had my Australian Shepard groomed at Pet Smart in Bellingham. Jamie the groomer did an excellent job, probably the best I have ever had done. Jamie definitely knows what she is doing and executes her job with skill and consideration for the dog. Jamie is great and I will request Jamie the next visit. Thank you Jamie!!!

This has got to be the worst web site ever for ordering online. Seriously great stuff, good prices but I can never actually ever get to the check out. No words …

I went to petsmart in truro NS and in one of the tanks was a dead crab that was clearly dead and had mold on it and I watched a employee literally looked right at it and just walked away

The Pet Smart website is a sort of bait and switch. They advertise $134 for grooming of the largest breed dogs, which I have. When I returned the bill was $188 per dog. The groomer added additional services, which is okay IF YOU CALL THE OWNER, they did not and I was very surprised when I was expecting my bill to be under $300 and it was closer to $400. They indeed bathed and brushed the dogs but I do NOT believe they clipped them. Very disappointed especially, the price switch.

The worst experience I've ever had as a. consumer dealing with a shameless, unapologetically, and unprofessional store manager who basically did everything he could to invalidate my complaints. This morning, I took my 6-year-old cat for grooming, the second time during his 6 years since I've been handling by myself, but this time, I require professional help since my cat had some heavy mat issues. I pay for a Bath & Brush with Deshed + Cat - Dematting Fee (30 min) $114. But I made a huge mistake when I picked my boy off, checking on him exhaustively once I got home; I realized he still needed to be brushed or de-matted as requested and paid. I gave the groomer straightforward guidelines about its mats, and I also completely accept that I may receive my boy not wholly dried because it could be uncomfortable for him to remain in the dryer for a long time. Anyway, he returned with more matts, unbrushed and completely messed up. I called consumer service, assisted by a lovely, helpful rep who listened carefully to my complaint and walked me through the following steps. 10 minutes afterward, I received a call from the store manager to hear his lecture on why I received my cat soaked and all kinds of arguments on "cats grooming 101" and why I was wrong, no matter what I told him. Although I knew my cat would need to be dried more, the arrogant manager discussed the issue non-stop, avoiding the real problem. When I specifically asked him about the real issues of brushing and de-matting, he replied, "I talked with the groomer, and she said she did it. Also, I saw the camera vids where I saw her doing it," so basically, my complaint was invalidated, with his "irrefutable" evidence, so when I am confronting him about his need to improve his communication with his employees since it was obvious my cat wasn't brushed or demat, he came back offering a rescheduled session to check the maths and fix them. Due to his poor consumer service skills and lack of empathy, I declined his offer and ended the call. No more Petsmart for my household, and please consider other grooming services, at least when you're thinking about your cats. You will do 100% better grooming service than what I received. Such a scam.

I placed a large order for pet food, and was shocked that expired food was shipped. The quantities were in multiples that should have ensured that the individual items came in their multi pack boxes. Instead they were tossed into 4 boxes and sent. Very disappointed!

My dog (a Keeshond - very fluffy) was a mess. He was overdue for a bath and had matted fur despite vigorous and frequent brushing. And he had a poopy butt but wouldn’t let us close enough to take care of it. I just had total knee replacement surgery and couldn’t wrangle him. I had made an appointment for washing and grooming but I was sure they wouldn’t take him in the state he was. I called first thing in the morning to cancel the appointment and the groomer told me that they get dogs with anything and everything stuck to them and to go ahead and bring him in. I told them to shave/clip his fur if it was too matted and that I didn’t care if he looked funny as a result. I could not believe my eyes when he came home. He looks GORGEOUS! Clean and shiny coat, fully brushed out, clipped neatly at the haunches and around the feet, no mats, nails trimmed. And he was happy and bouncy despite being so thoroughly groomed. I’m still gobsmacked by how terrific he looks. I will definitely be taking him back on a more regular basis.
