We have been taking our dog every other month to the PetSmart in Sanford NC. Shannon does an excellent job with our Bandit. She is kind loving and caring towards our Bandit. She's very knowledgeable and detail oriented., We can leave him there and walk out knowing he is in good hands, and we have never been disappointed in the excellent service we receive. We are now bringing our second dog Smokey .for the same great service.

Pet Parents Beware of boarding your dog at Petsmart in Saugus, MA. This is how I found my dog ….and even after I already tried to clean him up on the spot in the store. I picked up my poor little guy tonight, a night earlier than I had planned, giving them only 10 minutes notice. I was becoming more concerned about PetSmart in recent years regarding general quality of care in both the pet hotel and grooming as well. This time when I dropped my dog off, they told me they no longer have someone over night. It’s been that way for over a year. They never informed me of that the last time he was there. So, from 9 pm till the next morning when they open, no one is caring for them. My dog was filled with urine and chunks of hard feces. The girl had a nerve to brush it off by telling me she found him that way this morning. She said he was sitting in his feces and they tried to clean him. She continued to say they had tried to bring him to the groomers, but then made some excuse. It was 9:00 pm when I picked him up. My dog was also filled with urine, even on the top of the base of his tail, high up on his body and no where that his own urine should reach. She then handed me the bill. Worst part is God only knows how long he was really like that. I’m sure from how hard, stuck and dried the feces was and how much of it, It was more than just since this morning. Not even bathing him in water got it out, I had to cut out the chunks. I originally scheduled for him to get a bath the final morning I was going to be picking him up, I would’ve never known how much he was neglected. On top of it, I would’ve even been charged for the bath. I asked to see a manager and told him I had concerns when I dropped him off and how upsetting this was that my dog sat in feces and urine. He said no boarding places have staff always present. Even if that’s true..I am sure not all places neglect dogs like this though Certainly, I’m sure it’s not regular practice to leave dogs filthy with their urine and pieces of feces on them through the rest of the day and night. They were going to leave my dog like that through the night again had I not picked him up early. Again, I would’ve never known after the scheduled bath the next morning if I didn’t pick him up early. The manager was unapologetic, not anything like you would expect from a manager. The level of neglect warranted at least sincere concern and a lot more accountability. I refused to pay. He responded that it was fine that I did not pay. but that I wouldn’t be able to have my dog stay at the pet hotel again. Are you kidding? Trust me, you could not pay me to let you take care of my dog ever again. Because of the manager’s reaction, I will also never make a purchase online or in another Petsmart, ever again. The final icing on the cake, I tried to call corporate today and explained everything, but they just allow you to file a complaint with the Saugus Store, so the same people that told me they refused to provide “ME” with any service agsin. Customer care number heard about the details and level of neglect and still did not bump it up, so concerning. Come to find out the head manager of the store that was supposed to call me to follow-up was the same person, but he didn’t even call, he had the hotel manager call. The head manager who didn’t take responsibility or seemed to care. The woman who called me was nice, but said that my dog wouldn’t let them clean him. You are a dog facility with a grooming department and he is a small dog who doesn’t bite. Your staff is not trained well enough then if that’s an excuse to let dried feces and even urine as far up on top of his body stay on a dog until he gets groomed the final day. I’m sure I wouldn’t have seen any feces or urine on him the next day if I had picked him when originally scheduled after a bath. Thank God I didn’t. Shame on Corporate too, then. This is actual state report level of concerns. All the more eye opening when I found a review from a year ago from another woman who reported finding her dog with dried feces, and even dried vomit, on her dog. Horrified with PetSmart.

I was totally shocked at what I found out today. I had been looking to find Bright Mind Proplan dog food that my vet recommended for my senior dog. She didn't like it so I returned it to Petsmart, the only store I could find it at. When I returned it I asked if they donated returned product to rescues. She told me no, they just dispose of it! A multi billion dollar corporation just throws out perfectly good product instead of helping animals in need! So let's all understand this.... An American Corporation that is supposed to be in the business of helping animals, and loving animals, would rather throw thier products in the garbage then help animals and rescues in need! Not only because they are an American Company will I never shop there again but I think we all need to get the word out as to Petsmart's lack of compassion to animals in need! I am completely appalled by this! This just tells me that it has nothing to do with the animal, just the bottom line

Updating my previous review for your Havey, LA store location on Manhatten Blvd.. Staff is friendly. Store is kept clean. However it was sad to see how the sick animals were kept. They were sitting out at the checkout counter in dirty cages. One poor hamster was covered in fecies. All containers with the sick critters were dirty. No bedding, no hide. Just sitting in dirty containers. The girl moving the sick critters was just stacking their containers carelessly with what appeared to be no concern for their safety. Wish you would take better care of your animals. Just because they're sick doesn't mean you should treat them poorly. UPDATE 2/22/2025 Went in today and noticed this location keeps their Beta fish in FILTHY conditions. While in there it appeared they were pulling the dirty containers and putting NEW fish containers out. So are you cleaning or throwing them away? This isn't the first time I saw mistreatments of the animals at this location. Who can I call to report animal neglect/abuse at this store? Looking into this now to report this location. This is sick and disgusting!

Had the most horrible experience at the Pet Smart at Na’ Drive. I was sick with Covid and cancelled my apt the night before. The dogs went 6 more times after that, l had no issue. when l called to book again, l had a manager talk with me with very poor customer service. He said they couldn’t take my dogs because l had cancelled in the past, l was sick. I will be reporting the rudeness and how horrible the customer service is. l will be contacting the business Beau. People cancel dr apt and hair apts at the last minute because life happens people get sick. I am going to tell all my friends and family about this poor service and how people need to go to other dog grooming place. I would spend at least $1000 for food, treats. My dogs were always anxious there anyway so it a good sign,

Created an account, then went to the trouble of adding things to my cart. Only to find out, they don't offer shipping for the items I selected. If I wanted to buy and picked up my items, I would of just gone to my local walmart.

Dia 3 de febrero nos enamoramos de un pajaro exotico tuve conexión con el ...lo queria llevar pero los de petsmart me obligaron primero a comprar una jaula de casi $300 dolares antes de comprarlo, con sus juguetes y comida el total $425...aparte el costo del pajaro es de $812 ya con taxes ....hasta el hasta el dia 4 que ya tenia la jaula armada procedi ir a ver si me lo daban luego al intentar sacarlo de donde estaba en exhibición lo intentaron sacar y se golpeó varias veces antes de salir y al final cayo al suelo asustado y asi lo atraparon con la net....NO le tome mucha importancia pero el pajaro me duro solo 9 dias presento tristeza y solo dormido queria pasar y me disponia a llevarlo al veterinario pero como habia una tormenta de nieve de noche no pude salir paso unas 3 horas y pajaro murio ...el pajaro venia muy enfermo ....creo que NO limpian las jaulas donde los mantienen y los venden enfermos ....tienen una poliza que solo puedes reclamar durante los 14 dias si no pierdes todo ...y después de ese lapso no se hacen cargo ....luego mi pajaro murio entre 9 dias intente regresarlo y las personas ni lo querian ni abrir para verlo que si estaba muerto y nos trataron mal....pedimos información del manager y NO quisieron dar nada ...se comportaron super mal....al final tuve que volver 3 veces cargando el pájaro muerto conmigo hasta que por fin un manager me ayudo y me hicieron el retorno del dinero pero los $425 de la jaula y todo los juguetes los perdi ....mi recomendación es NO comprar animales de petsmart los tienen muy enfermos y mienten solo por vender sus productos....he llorado mucho por que ni ellos saben que juegan con los sentimientos de los clientes que si aman a los animales...al tener mucho animal junto es propenso a que uno de ellos este enfermó y se propague una enfermedad...NO son serios en vender ... recomiendo mejor NO comprar ...solo es para venderte a la fuerza los productos...una estafa completa ....estoy muy decepcionado de esta tienda ...podría asegurar que ni limpian las jaulas o lugares donde los exiben apropiadamente...
