Today's scheduled appointment for my dog was a total disappointment. I am traveling the country from West coast to East coast. Once I learned to schedule my appointment enough in advance knowing where we would be it has been a smooth process. The groomers have all been great and loved my dog, accepting she was a bit nervous at first but just embraced her and all was fine. Until today. K. at the Biddeford Maine was a fearful terrible handler Tinker growled at her so K. cancelled my appointment. Now am scrambling to get an appointment somewhere else. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE....

We went to the Yorkville, IL Petsmart and adopted a 4 month old puppy. This is our first dog, so we needed the full list of supplies. The customer service was so horrible I nearly walked away from the whole adoption: - there were only a handful of customers in the store, so the staff was not overwhelmed at the time - I asked a young girl staff member to help me decide on a harness for the new pup. She told me I could just try them on and "...figure it out". When I explained I had never done this, she said "It isn't that hard." and walked away.One of the adoption representatives ended up helping me. - I am 6 month pregnant and also wanted to purchase a large crate. I found a young male staff-member and asked if he or someone could help in getting the crate to the front of the store and possibly into my vehicle. He responded "I don't know if anyone here can do that." He called over another young female staff member and her response "I can't help with that". Another customer walking by and seeing their responses jumped in to help me. - A certain type of food the puppy liked was recommended by the adoption people but we couldn't find it in the store. We asked a staff member (same girl from harness) and she said "if you don't see it, we don't have it". I asked if possibly another Petsmart carried it and she said "How would I know". If I wasn't going home with a puppy that second I wouldn't have spent a dime there. We will never return to that or any Petsmart.

I brought my 12 year old Pomeranian for her appointment today. The groomer, Nicole, asked me about Pebbles’ breathing and I told her it is her trachea and that it is a common problem with small dogs. 1/2 hour later I was asked to pick up my dog because she couldn’t be groomed due to her breathing. When I got there, I asked if this meant I could no longer bring my dog there. Dawn, another groomer said “Not while she is breathing like that”. I told her that is the way Pebbles breathes and asked again if I can no longer bring my dog there. Dawn responded with, “that is not a breathing problem. That is a heart problem. You need to take her to the vet”. I told her that Pebbles has been to the vet and cleared. I told her I was very upset that I had driven 1/2 hour to get to the appointment, we were leaving for out of state on Sunday, and Pebbles needed to be groomed. I also told her she had no business telling me my dog has a heart problem when my vet.... Dawn interrupted me and spoke over me saying if I cared about my dog..... At that point I asked her for her name and told her I would be reporting this. I had to ask her more than once for her name because her hair covered her name tag. Then Nicole commented that she didn’t know who I was going to talk to unless I called corporate. Before leaving I told them they had no right place accusing me of bringing a sick dog to be groomed and making me feel like crap. If they had said that the groomer just didn’t feel comfortable because of the way Pebbles was breathing, I could have dealt with that. Yes so I will contact corporate and I am really hoping there is surveillance video available. The tone Dawn used with me was unprofessional, and they will be able to see it on the video. This is the Pet Smart in Daytona Beach.

I have had a wondering experience dealing with the customer service team at PetSmart. They were very timely in their responses as well as extremely helpful with questions I had. Thank you customer service team!

So I can't buy anoles because i might release in a garden and they come from a cage and not the wild, hummm. Go get some education all anoles are wild caught ,they survive in the wild.

I am a disabled veteran and adopted a cockerpoo to become my emotional support friend to help me when I drive for Uber. I was having pretty serious barking issues so I signed up for beginning training lessons - a 6 week class offered at PerSmart on Westhills in Appleton, Wisconsin. I'm so glad that I stuck with the recommendations trainer Isabel's gave us. Don't give up hope, because the training seemed to not work at first, but after 5 weeks my dog is doing beautifully. Isabel was so patient with me and my pet and I took her advice and now couldn't be happier. I just signed up for the next 6 weeks intermediate class. Thank you Petsmart and especially Isabel!

I picked up my little 6 pound Shih Tzu after her grooming appt. In the car, she curled up on the seat vs. being happy to see me. I could tell something was wrong. When we got home, she couldn't walk. From her waist down, she seem paralyzed. Her head was hard cocked to the left. Her body seem bent in half sideways to the left. Her left ear was bent weird upward compared to her right. Her tail, instead of curling up on her back was curling horizontally to the left side. Very unnatural looking. I immediately took her to the emergency hospital. $1000 later, they explained she was clearly damaged. It would cost $2500 to do an MRI to confirm she may have been dropped. I couldn't afford it. They said she could have been dropped, they could have also gone in her ears and caused damage to her balance. WIthout the tests they couldn't be sure. They gave me meds and said to give her some time to see how she does. Even with the MRI there would be little they could do. Now a week later, she can walk, but her entire body tilts to the left. Her ear is still cocked and her personality has changed. SHe has no patience and she tries to attack you if you touch her hips. She doesn't want to be touched at all. So, I keep hoping she will continue to improve. I spoke with a regional manager at PetSmart who said to send the vet report. I never heard back from them. Now I will have to sue them. Gees. I then went online and research PetSmart problems and there are many people with similar stories. Just Google it and you'll see. THis sweet little girl has never had a sick day in her life. I bred her and was there when she was born. Her mother was a Champion Shih Tzu.

PetSmart in Burlington on Brant Street, Lack Experience. My experience with the Pet Smart on Brant Street in Burlington has come to complete disdain. The employees in the aquarium section lack knowledge of fish. With how they maintain and control their tanks — especially the maintenance for their Goldfish. I have had Goldfish for 15+ years. Currently, two Goldfish at the ages of 10+ years. I decided it was time to add some new ones into the tank, which I have never had a problem with until recently. I went to purchase four new baby goldfish, not realizing days later they were diseased. The four Goldfish from Pet Smart had Ick and other parasite infections. My Goldfish and two suckerfish were dying because the PetSmart Goldfish spread the infectious disease to my Goldfish, Suckerfish and the tank. I returned to Pet Smart and explained my situation. The salesperson said, "Goldfish are a whatever fish, we don't care or take care of them because they are cheap anyway." I also notice, all four tanks cleared and cleaned out, where the Goldfish were placed. It saddens me to hear that there was nothing they could do and the fact they treated Goldfish with such carelessness. Their treatment of this species is belittled and disgusting. I have then displayed all this on my social media account of 20k followers. The week of how the PetSmart fish killed my much older Goldfish and suckerfishes that were very healthy and big. This was displayed to explain how to sadden I was to experience such lousy customer service and employee lack of knowledge with aquarium facts and experience. If you are thinking of returning or purchasing Goldfish, I'd save your money and find another provider because the Aquarium Employees at this location DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING and lack commonsense of knowledge for fish.
