I only go to petsmart because I feed my dog their food brand that I can’t find anywhere else. Today I tried to order online and it said low stock and wouldn’t let me order so I called in to ask if they could do a stock check for me. I totally missed the voice recording saying they aren’t doing stock checks. I asked politely to the guy if he could check the food I need is in stock and he was SO RUDE! I explained to him I’m sorry I didn’t hear the voice recording saying you aren’t doing stock checks (I had no idea), but why would you be so rude especially when I wasn’t rude in the first place? I used to be a cashier and worked retail before and I was NEVER rude to the costumers. Ever. If I was in his position I’d simply say “I’m sorry ma’am but at this moment we aren’t doing stock checks” or something like “corporate won’t allow us to do stock checks at this moment I’m very sorry for the inconvenience” I mean it’s a COSTUMER you’re talking to, and one who wasn’t rude AT ALL so no reason to be rude and snarky. Maybe learn how to talk to people? I’m sorry if you’re having a bad day, it isn’t my fault you hate your job so don’t take it out on me.

My puppy had a top pup cleaning today.. first of all the one called Katie, was very rude to me .. as soon as I got there she started demanding to see paper work for my dog and didn't do it in a pleasant way.. finally I pulled up my records online.. she saw my dog but at the end she didn't even say have a good day and worse.. she didn't even give my dog a bow or a bandana which should come with the package I paid for!!! I'm seriously thinking of not going back!(this was at the Kalamazoo location)

When I want to check out at smart PetSmart in Ankeny the cashier was very rude to me she started getting short with me cuz I didn't know my email and she asked me if I want to sign up with four words and I said yes but the guy that helped me up in reptiles was very nice and then I decided I didn't want no bowls so I took him back and she was very rude and said I had to stand 6 ft and I was standing six feet away from people and they're behind me was all crunched up

Petsmart??? More like PETRETARD. I ordered but my order wasn't what I ordered. What I did order arrived DAMAGED. Need I go on? PETCO at least tries while theintelligent lacking at Petsmart are lacking intelligence and a waste of time. SIHONARA intelligence challanged Never again will I waste my time.

I purchased 25 large crickets for my chameleon Cami on Saturday afternoon July 18, 2020. These crickets were already bagged and register attendant had no idea how long they had been bagged. She was the only one in store I could ask because there was no one else working floor anywhere that I saw. I took them home to feed Cami. She had eaten a few. The next morning she was not her usual self. This morning July 24, 2020 Cami passed away. I called my local Petsmart where I had purchased crickets to let them be aware of what happened to my Cami. The payroll clerk was the one I spoke with. She tried to assure me it's fine to bag crickets in the morning because they sell out so swift. I told her no that's definitely not true or safe because if They're in bag too long they will suffer from hypoxia state- very low oxygen levels. She kept trying interrupting me to reassure me and didn't want to talk about this. She simplyddidn't care. She then hung up on me! I worked in a petstore several years ago and we never bagged crickets until the customer purchased them. We also instructed customers to remove from bag quickly. Don't leave them in bag any longer than 20 or so minutes. Any longer and they would suffer, not be healthy, and die. No you do not and should not bag crickets before purchase. I advise do not purchase any crickets already bagged because they will not be healthy and not something you would want to feed to your pet. Mine died from this insanity. I will never spend a thin dime at this store or any Petsmart again. I won't even give them one star!

I live in Clovis NM I have spent over $700.00 one GlowFish from PetSmart here. I have been just replacing the fish that have been diying since I got my tank (from PetSmart) since May 2020 I have bought and tried everything that they told me to and still every one of my GlowFish are now dead in a month 1/2 I have pic to prove it. I brought my fish when they were 9.73 or about each not to mention all the junk that they told me to buy for the fish. So like a mad person I go back and let them know what was going on and that all of my fish had died do you know what they did for me... they gave me 4 molly's and a $78.00 credit...can you believe that stuff after all of the money I spent in that store that's what they thought of their customer.. Do not buy fish from PetSmart is the lesson.

I actually had the absolute worst experience at this particular store. I have been a member for 5 years now and I hate that this is the closest store to me. My husband is military and I am constantly moving so with that being said I’m usually very reluctant to shop at PetSmart. Dave the Assistant Manager has given me the worst service on two different occasions. I don’t understand why someone that would even do the things he has done would be considered for any managerial position ! The first visit doesn’t equate to the last visit. I went to make a return I had 3 items. He took all three items , rang up 3 items, told me the total of 29.37, told me to sign the pen pad which I did...... but the pen pad read 42.63. So he went and deleted my signature took off one of the items and told me to sign again! This time the pen pad read 29.37. I signed, he handed me my money fold up like a drug transaction with no receipt . When I asked for a receipt (HE TOOK 2 PEOPLE IN LINE!) then Dave instructed for someone else to give me a receipt. Once she did, I noticed that Dave rang up 2 items not 3 ON PURPOSE ! I’m baffled, I’m disgusted at my treatment and I wish to never see this man or visit this store again. Thumbs Down ! And shame on you Dave and Tammi.

I'm totally done with PetSmart. Half the time I go into the store to get something they don't have it in stock. Simple things like hay for small pets or bedding. Now they won't even answer the phone so that I can check ahead because corporate now won't allow them to do stock checks over the phone. I had to drive around 3 stores today to find some Timothy Hay for our Guinea. 1 and 1/2 hours of my time wasted. It's Amazon from now on and I have spent thousands at PetSmart over the past 6 years.
