The only reason I'm giving two stars is because they didn't charge me this time. But I came to the Phoenix Metrocenter Petsmart expressly to have my dog's nails done, deciding to add a bath while we were there. THEY DID NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO CUT HIS NAILS. They left goop by my dog's eyes, and they returned him to me wet. When they told me he was aggressive, I asked for clarification. Apparently aggressive means that he turned like he was "going to" go for the groomer's hand. In other words, my dog turned his head and she was so paranoid that she refused to try to cut his nails. When she said he tried to get out the harness, she admitted she did not try to tighten or adjust it. I've used Petsmart for location, but I can't tolerate incompetence anymore. Leaving my dog with long nails and goopy eyes got rid of me!

I decided to finally get a pet and decided on a pet fish. I went in store to buy my fish and it’s new tank and everything else needed for a fish. I asked an employee for help and they happily helped me. However I would quickly come to realize how bad the information that was given was a few days after the fish died after I asked people who do own a fish. The employee told me to condition the water and only wait a day. The fish that I bought only lasted for 4 days and on its 3rd day I called the petsmart for help because I noticed unusual behavior, they told me they did not know what was going on and asked if I wanted to return it. I originally thought of doing so because they might help it out in some way but a day before a cousin of mine told me that she and her friend went to a petsmart and noticed that 2 fish had already died and were still being sold. A month after the fish died I decided to get another fish and present day it’s still alive but it looks like it’s not gonna survive much longer, I’m doing everything that I can and talking to people that own a fish instead of listening to employees from petsmart. Overall don’t buy a pet fish at petsmart, it’s not right how they are treated there and my experience was bad overall, they even sold me a conditioner that didn’t work so I had to buy one off of Amazon for my second fish.

Grooming in Wilson NC... I am mad as hell. I directly left a note in the comment section when I booked my Bella Ann appointment. I typed in all caps to leave her face FULL. MY YORKIE LOOKS LIKE A LABRADOR!!! The young lady that cut Bella said she needed clarification so she asked the person that dropped Bella off to clarify what I typed. How the hell can someone else clarify what I said? I am pissed off and PetSmart Grooming JUST LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER!!!!

Terrible online company. Stick to retail. They cancel my order 2 times already because they don't have stock! Update your website!

For the third time I have made a return and had to wait over a week for my debit card to be credited. I have NEVER had to do with with a merchant before, I have to beg each time to get my money, they sure as (fill in the blank) take it but never give it back. Store cannot help me tried numerous times to call corporate office and even tried to reach the CEO without success!!

Don't ever order from petsmart.com. They don't take any responsibilities when an order is not received.

I bought two African dwarf frogs to place in my beta tank. The next day, one of the frogs was near dead and my beta dead also. I called the store and they said they were experiencing issues with fungal infections with their fish and frogs. Why would they sell me infected frogs then?!?! Thanks to them I lost my beta who I’ve had for a whole. They do not care about their pets at all!! I am very furious and upset.

I had the worst experience at Petsmart in Germantown yesterday. I was told my dogs would be done no longer than 4 hours due to matted hair on one dog. I called at 1:45 (going on 5 hours) and was told one dog is done but the other is air drying in the crate. They told me she was afraid of the noise of blow dryer. This didn't sound right to me at all. I told them I was coming to get the dog that was done and guess what all of a sudden she was not done either - still air drying in the crate. I asked to speak to manager which took 20 minutes of waiting. She then told me the groomer never tried to use the blow dryer because one of my dogs is very old and had trouble sitting during bath. WRONG AGAIN!! My dog just turned 8, very heathy and very obedient. I decided to show up after the phone call and get my dogs because I didn't trust them in their care (10 min away). When I showed up the two groomers and receptionist were just chatting away up front and not working on any dogs. They brought my dogs to me and guess what They were completely dry! They had been sitting a crate since their wash at 9:00 so the workers could sit around chatting and not working. I didn't get one apology. If you LOVE YOUR PETS DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE!!!
