They Missed diagnosed my issue and changed the lower ball joints ($1500 ) DID NOT FIX THE ISSUE of the wobbling in the car. Went another company found the shaking/wobbling was the bent two front axles. They also missed the very worn out tie-rod end that was also repaired. I recommend ALOHA MOTORS Gary, been there for 100 years in Encinitas or RONS ALIGNMENT Ron fixed the issue 2 bent axles and tie rod end) who fixed the issue pep "boys" missed. The company did contact me via email and then Leann called. Leann was dismissive, condescending, had a disposition of blaming me for telling them what to repair. I had absolutely NO IDEA WHATSOEVER what the issue was. She was very testy and confrontational initially when I first went in to drop the Lexus off. I would have dropped the review if they took responsibility but blaming me just made things worse.

I've never been so disgusted in my entire life. The entire process was a nightmare. Store manager Yvonne didn't tell me the forest information first off and she lied saying she was going to a parts store for a part (i came in w a flat tire, and was willing to spend more) but after 4 failed attempts of communication with me no call backs and then Yvonne leaves without any information no one even knows what is casually going glob... then get this, they call me ex husband and not me Also the guy at the corner ARON looks like meth addict and he was one of the most ignorant and stupid person I've ever met. He threw up his hands when i asked for the invoice or estimate and shouted... "all you people just think we're ripping them off. Pathetic!" That's your employee. I will never come back and either will any family or friends I've never felt more disgusted in my life. Oh ya get this my little girl was standing right next to me and heard everything. Just disgusting! What a waste of my time. You all should be ashamed and fired that ARON soon as possible and maybe get the store manager some help and trained

Needed Tires and oil change. They fixed me up with a great deal. I was in and out in 45 minutes. Great service! Brownsburg Indiana store.

Extremely Disappointed with Pep Boys Baldwin (Store #283) I had a terrible experience at this Pep Boys location. I purchased two new tires in August 2023 along with the Road Hazard Warranty, which is supposed to cover repairs and replace the tire if it can't be safely repaired. Fast forward several months later, I brought my vehicle back because one of the tires was damaged. Instead of honoring the warranty and replacing the tire, they just patched it. Not only was the patch job a temporary fix, but now the tire sensor (TPMS) on that wheel doesn’t work—something that wasn’t an issue before their repair. I paid for the protection plan in good faith, expecting quality service and peace of mind. Instead, I got a patch, a malfunctioning sensor, and a runaround. When I contacted the store about the issue, I was met with little concern and no resolution. If you’re thinking about trusting this location for tires or warranty coverage—don’t. They do not stand behind their work, and their lack of accountability is unacceptable. Take your car and your money somewhere that actually values customers.

My first time coming to Pep Boys, Miles was very helpful. Todd fixed my daughter’s starter and the price was very reasonable! I would definitely come back and highly recommend.

Whatever you Do, DON'T get your car serviced here. I won't go into the gory details, but they can't follow simple instructions, they are careless, and they wasted half of my day with dumb mistakes; all over a simple oil change and tire rotation. Given this level of incompetence, I'm not even sure they ever did any work on my car at all. The WORST. AVOID!

Visited the Pep Boys Auburn Blvd Citrus Heights location. Horrible experience. Had an appointment at 8:30. After about 20 minutes of my car sitting in the parking lot I asked how long my appointment was going to be. Service tech apparently wasn’t there and I was told he should be there in 10-15 minutes. Full appointment took over an hour for an oil change with a scheduled appointment. Less than a week later I broke down in a parking lot with my 3 year old grandson because of a dead battery. I was not provided this information about my battery at the time of service. I contacted the Pep Boys location to inquire about what the courtesy vehicle inspection consisted of and was informed they check fluids and tire tread and battery. My battery life was bad at the time of service and my fluids were low and not topped off which I was told is part of the service when I spoke to the manager a week later. He was extremely rude and unprofessional and hung up on me. After the call he texted me with the full details of my inspection which showed the battery needed attention. Again, this was not provided at the time of service. He did nothing to attempt to rectify the bad and incomplete service performed. I have since contacted the corporate office and am hoping someone will follow up so future customers can have a better experience at this Pep Boys location. Will also be contacting the Bureau of Automotive Repair on Monday. Someone needs to address the service being performed at this location. Off to buy a new battery!

Me and my wife created an account at Pep Boys and made an appointment online to have our vehicle serviced on Friday, May 23rd at 11 am at 4700 Mobile Highway in Pensacola, Florida. We arrived at 10:50 am on Friday at the store. When we got to the service desk, a female employee told us that there was at least a 5 hour wait, but we kindly said we have an appointment. She said it didn't matter because they were busy. So we left without being helped. When we got home, we found an offensive email sent to us from Pep Boys which read: “Sorry you couldn't make your recent service appointment with us — do you want to set another time?” Pep Boys wrongly accused us in the email of not showing up for the appointment, but we did show up; they were the ones who didn't show up and broke their promise! It was Pep Boys who didn't honor our appointment. What's the use of scheduling an appointment, if Pep Boys is not going to honor it? An appointment doesn't mean waiting 5 or more hours to have your vehicle serviced. We just wanted our air conditioning looked at, because it's not putting out cold air. An appointment means being timely, not first come first serve. This is unethical. I understand that things can become busy and hectic, but at a minimum someone at the store should have called to let us know beforehand that the appointment couldn't be honored, instead of wasting our time to drive to Pep Boys just to be told we'd have to wait for 5 or more hours. That is no way to run a business. We won't be going back! We'll go somewhere else where an appointment means something.
