Disappointing experience
Disappointing experience, wasted morning I ordered $1,400 worth of tires through their website and was given an installation appointment two days later. I arrived at 9 a.m., only to have the technician tell me he needed to check whether the tires had actually come in. They hadn’t, and he could only say they’d arrive “sometime later in the day.” I had taken the morning off work for this appointment and couldn’t wait around indefinitely, so I cancelled my order. I’ll be taking my business somewhere more professional. What bothers me most is how easily this could have been avoided. A quick morning check of incoming inventory against the day’s appointments, followed by a call to anyone affected, would have saved me a wasted trip and a lost half-day of work. Instead, it seems the customer’s time just isn’t a priority. If I’m expected to track my own tire delivery to their shop, I might as well order online and have them shipped to my house. It’s no surprise companies like Tire Rack are winning this business.
