Paula Young WigsReviews of paulayoung.com

I purchased the Evie wig which arrived today. This could be a wonderful wig if it were not such poor quality. The wig cap shows through on top. I understand they have changed where the wigs are made and it certainly shows. I’ve made my last purchase.

Customer service is horrific! Since you cannot even see what you ordere other than a small picture on the screen, returns are happening often and should be made as easy as possible. I have had nothing but bad experiences with customer service, either because they are downright rude, unfriendly and non-cooperative. But my last experience was the worst. I had ordered 2 items, one was 20 dollars more than the other. When I returned the more expensive item that was not a good fit for me, they credited me for the less expensive item and insisted that this is what I returned. Even though I made pictures of the item I kept with tag - and I wouldn't get a refund without a tag, but to no avail. They kept telling me to call back a day later, and when I did told me the department was closed over the weekend, which was a long one due to a holiday. And to this day the issue is not resolved and they owe me at least 20 dollar not counting 8% state tax. I will NEVER order another thing through their website.

The first wig that I ordered was just what I wanted,so I thought I would order another one.it was terrible. Sent it back.stupid me thought I'd try again.this wig is even worse. It looks like something you'd wear for Halloween.there was no way it could be styled.the top hair was standing straight up and could not make a part wh I wear.i will be sending it back.by the time all the fees are subtracted, from your return there's practically nothing left to reimburse.i certainly will not be ordering anything else and advise that no. one else does.i have never seen so many bad reviews.I'm getting to be afraid to order anything off line.the reviews certainly helps and they should be read before ordering anything,wh i haven't been because I trusted this company.not anymore.by the time you get your refund back and all the deductions taken out ,there's very little left, that is if any.

I have been an consistent customer of Paula Young for quite a while, having purchased several clip-on ponytail-style hairpieces over 20 years. I had been mostly satisfied with the quality and color of the hairpieces...up to now. My old hairpieces were made of 80% modacrylic 20% pvc fiber and were of better quality/more realistic than the new 100% Kanekalon products (way too shiny and slick texture!). Also, the number of hair colors available are significantly less than before for clip-on hairpieces (and of course the color I always opted for is not now available.) So I likely will not be buying additional products from Paula Young...

Don't buy from this company. It was a horrible experience. I'm still fighting with them trying to get my refund. Wigs were not good, customer service was awful. They tell you whatever you want to hear. I had to talk to a supervisor every time and even that didn't help. I called before placing an order and was told if I didn't like them they were 100% refundable with NO fees within 30 days. Wrong! 20% restock fee on items called Drop Shipment. They claim that's in the fine print - I didn't see that but did call and ask with them knowing which wigs I was ordering. NO ONE TOLD ME THAT. They would not honor that promise. I bought 4 that were drop shipment wigs so I got charged a 20% fee on the 3 I returned. I was clear that I wanted a refund and filled out the form correctly. I got less than of refund on my charge card. I called and after 23 minutes, the supervisor I was talking to didn't come back so I called again. They said they issued the refund but I had to get very upset to make them understand it wasn't for the full amount. After another 20 minutes they put the majority of my refund as a credit on the Paula Young account. NO!!! Never asked for that. I've had to call them 11 times since July 14th when I ordered these. I returned 12 out of 13 wigs because they were so bad. Absolutely horrible experience. 4 of the wigs were sent FedEx and they didn't arrive at home. I had to file a claim with FedEx and it took another 3 phone calls to get the wigs reshipped. Oh my God!!! Don't order from them.

Before ordering I called customer service for information re differences between several identically named products. Customer Service read me what the catalog said. The person had zero knowledge of the products. Subsequently I ordered two items which were shipped via standard shipping. I was very much looking forward to getting the products. I was unaware that the Fedex system used by Paula Young does not guarantee any specific delivery date or time frame ..even tho the Paula Young website says 5-7 business days for standard delivery. After 8 business days, my order was identified by Fedex as not scheduled for delivery at any time. Fedex customer service said that meant it could be lost or wait indefinitely for delivery. They said to call Paula Young. Paula Young customer service refused to allow cancellation of the order....ever! They said they would ask their shipping department to look into the missing or permanently stalled package but I would have to wait 30 days for a reshipment and then if the same thing happened, another reshipment etc...no matter how many times the package was "lost." Since Paula Young sells items that are essential to the well being and social functioning of customers this is an out of touch response and policy, It deprives me of both a necessary product and a refund so I can purchase elsewhere. What a way to alienate a new customer!

I have been purchasing Wigs from Paula Young for years. In the last three purchases, the wigs I received were very cheaply made. Hair missing in spots, wigs hair standing up, just plain crap!!!! I will no longer be dealing with Paula Young, as their manufacturing standards have plummeted. Also, try to return one......one must battle to get a refund.

The worst company I have ever dealt with and I am sad to say they are in Massachusetts USA. Horrible customer service and their products are so fake and poor quality. Its been 30 day still no refund and my account shows no return. Ridiculous!!!!! They do not answer calls. Are they closed for good? Buyer Beware!!!! Do NOT BUY THEIR WIGS OR PRODUCTS.
