As a knitter, I know that there are a lot of choices out there when it comes to shopping for yarn. But sometimes it's not the yarn selection that matters as much as the customer service. Paradise Fibers excels in that department. I had a question about matching colors, and it's hard to tell from a monitor sometimes. I called the store, explained what I was wondering, and instantly received helpful information. I ended up buying a color I hadn't considered, but when it arrived (promptly!) it was just what I wanted. I definitely recommend this store! They go out of their way to help.

I had first ordered from Paradise Fibers in the fall, and my order was processed quickly and the products were great. My next order had serious shipping issues -I requested and paid for UPS and they shipped via USPS. Needless to say the order was over a week later than I expected, and, since I am in Canada, I had no way of knowing when my order would arrive. I had hoped that this was a fluke due to the holidays and recently made the mistake of ordering once more from Paradise Fibers. This time I requested Fedex shipping. Sure enough, we received a call informing us that the company cannot ship via FedEx (begging the question of why this is even an option), and asking if UPS would be acceptable. Sure, we replied. A couple of days later when we saw no shipping confirmation we checked the order and saw that it had, in fact, been shipped ... via USPS. Again. Needless to say I have received no response to my inquiry about my order. While I expect that I will eventually receive my order, that won't be for at least another week or two. If I'm lucky. I am very disappointed to see how far Paradise Fibers has fallen. Incompetent shipping, failure to deliver on customer expectations, and unresponsive customer service - - your money is better spent virtually anywhere else. I won't be ordering from Paradise Fibers again.
