Paradise FibersReviews of paradisefibers.com

i placed my order on a Monday. My sister in law placed her order an hour after me. We live in Colorado. We wanted to try an experiment because of all the Nasty things we've read lately about PF. We've been shopping through Paradise Fibers for years now and have noticed a change in management, only to find out later that PF has received an entire face lift!!! This time we purchased some yarn, fiber, and needles. a few of each. After we placed our order we called and spoke with (NAME) personally after only a minute wait. I asked her if she received my order and told her how happy i was to get my goodies in the mail! She was professional, polite, and a joy to speak with on the phone! she told me that the order i placed was received and is in the "picking" status and that it would be shipped out no later than the day i placed it! TWO days later i received my package! WOW! The product i ordered was carefully wrapped and packaged wonderfully! There was even a note inside my fiber bag, Thanking me for my order and complimenting me on my choice in colors! The new employees at paradise fibers are diamonds in the rough, I've had a pleasure of speaking to many of them! These people are picking up the pieces of a metaphorical BOMB explosion left by the previous "managers" and the employees that no longer cared! I hope these wonderful human beings can look past all the hateful comments being directed at them for trying their best and continue to be a light in this dark world! I WILL continue to shop at PF, i even signed up for fiber club today!! Needless to say my sister in law received her order the same day!! Try it out for yourself and make your own decisions but i believe this company is doing their best to remain such a huge presence in the yarn world. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for them! I wish you the best PF! Thank you for treating me like a valued human being and not just a number~ -Ali ps.... I see you have SARI SILK fibers in stock!!! *placing order now* thank you! :)

On March 2, 2015 I placed an order for 11 skeins of Katia Belice yarn. I had found a pattern for a beautiful afghan made with that yarn. I had not received yarn by March 12, 2015. I called paradise Yarns on March 12 and was told ( after the employee informed me that they kept that yarn in the basement and would call me back) that they only had 6 skeins of the yarn and that I could wait for them to order more or they could send what they had and they would send the rest when it came in. I found this was very poor business practice. I think that Paradise Yarns should have notified me that the yarn to fill my order was not available, instead of me waiting 10 days and then I had to be the one to make call to check on order. Now I will wait and see if the 98.00 dollars is credited to my account. Very poor business practice. I would give less than one star if half a star was available.

LIke most of the other reviews, I am not getting my order nor is anyone bothering to respond to my email inquires. Order placed on 2-28-2015, still not shipped as of 3-4-2015. Told them to cancel my order then place an order for the same thing with another company who already have shipped it. I"m within a days drive of these folks and I could have drive up there and back several times while I was waiting for them to ship a single small pot of dye. I'm disgusted by my first visit and order with Paradise Fibers and won't use them again. Additionally, this review will also go up on my textile blog as a warning for others. You're better off using (NAME) in North Carolina. Even though it's 2,000 miles further away, I'll get my order sooner.

This used to be the place to shop for quick and efficient shipping. Any problems would be dealt with promptly. Not true now. I placed an order in early Feb. When it didn't arrive in a week and no emails I sent an email requesting status. It was ignored. A couple of days later I called and left a message. No return phone call. I repeated this ritual three more times untii someone finally picked up the phone on the 23rd. I was told part (no specifics just part)of my order was back ordered and I requested that the remainder of the order to ship out asap. If they had shipped it the next day it would have arrived by the 27th. On the 27th I get an email saying my order is back ordered and would be TWENTY 20 days before they would ship. There was no mention of the phone call. They finally shipped out my partial order (one ball back ordered) on Monday. I'm sorry but this is beyond unacceptable customer service. Pick up your phones, answer emails and return voice mails and then follow through. I am sad to say I am now hunting for a new source for my favorite yarns. If there is any other way I will not be doing business with this company again.

What terrible customer service! I placed an order in early February 2015. I had to write to Paradise Fibers to get a tracking number because they didn’t bother to send me one. Then, for some strange reason – and this was not Paradise Fiber’s fault –, my order wound up in Israel (I live in Canada). After a few fruitless exchanges with a customer service representative, I decided to call her. She sounds very nice over the phone. She’ll call you sweetie and what not and make many wonderful promises… which she won’t fulfil. I called again, but to no avail. I’ve read on Paradise Fiber’s Facebook page that this seems to be a recurring situation. I strongly recommend not doing business with this company. If you have placed an order and are experiencing the same kind of problems I have, do like I did: save all emails and other exchanges and have your credit card company or Paypal reverse the charges. Good luck! I

I have ordered from Paradise Fibers in the past with excellent results. After my most recent order was listed as "processing" for several days (VERY unusual) I looked at other media (Facebook, ravelry, trust pilot, etc.) only to see that others were having delivery issues and that the day I placed my order, Paradise Fibers was doing inventory. I immediately emailed to inquire about my order and requested a response. That same day, my order status changed to "complete" and listed a tracking number. I just received my yarn - but at no time did I receive any communication or a response to my inquiry. This is a very different experience than what I have had in the past. I do not know if my order was shipped as a result of my email or if it was coincidence. I may order again, but with trepidation.

I placed an order with Paradise Fibers on 2-1-15, for in stock merchandise. Since I didn't receive it within 5 days, I tried calling to inquire about my order but no one answered the phone. I went on their website to initiate online chat, but that service was unavailable. I received no communication to let me know that my order was delayed, or had even shipped. I finally received it 11 days later on 2-12-15. I placed another order with PF on 2-13-15. Again, no email communication about my order, saying there was a delay, or that it had shipped. I received that order 10 days later on 2-23-15. It states right on Trust Pilot that PF ships nearly every order out same day, and you get a tracking number immediately after your order ships. Obviously not true. Edit on 3-4-15: The same day that I left this review, it was flagged for being in violation of Trust Pilot policies, AND my Paradise Fibers online customer account was deleted (wiping out 3 1/2 years of order history, and deleting any unused Paradise Points I had accumulated). One of PF's employees, Laurie, confirmed yesterday that she "couldn't find" my account when she tried to credit points I had earned for Jan in their yarn club program. Prior to this, I also made several attempts to leave a review about the obvious changes in fiber club no longer being a good value (shipments from Nov - Jan being below the $35 value I paid). Since I didn't rate my reviews 4 or 5 stars, they were deleted. Only positive reviews are allowed to remain. Reputable companies look at negative feedback as an opportunity to focus on areas that need improvement, not as a reason to justify vindictive behavior, or attempts to cover up the truth. New management should be ashamed. Edit on 3-14-15 to respond to post by PF: No name was given, but I'll assume it was Rachel. I have already put this most unfortunate situation behind me. I gladly forfeit any unused Paradise points I lost when my customer account was deleted, and the $10 credit I had earned in Jan yarn club. Using those points would mean that I have to place an order with Paradise Fibers, and I no longer wish to do business with your company. When you flagged my Trust Pilot review for being in violation of their policies, you lost me as a customer forever.

Do not trust this company. They don't answer their phones, emails, or messages. They don't care about their customers and in fact, are quite rude to them. I wouldn't shop here if THEY paid ME. You can't slam the door in a customer's face! The trickle-down effect has begun ... and another one bites the dust. I'm not worried. There's certainly no shortage of online yarn stores that deliver the pleasant business experience you can no longer find at Paradise Fibers.
