I am a community college student in Canada, and through my school I have been using otter.ai for notetaking for lectures. So whenever I have an in-person lecture, I used Otter.ai to record the Professor's voice and that will automatically turn into notes I can refer to later after the lecture. I find the text notes are highly accurate and very helpful in my studies! :)

I've been using Otter.ai for a few months now, and I've found it to be an extremely useful tool. As a PR consultant, I have several weekly meetings, and I always make sure to have Otter.ai join via Zoom or Google Meet to transcribe, summarize, and take notes. I automatically receive an email after each meeting with a summary and action items that I can share with my team. It's an invaluable tool that I would highly recommend to other business owners and consultants.

Amazing app

I’m utterly dependent upon this Otter AI app not only to be able to write up the weekly team meeting notes, but also to be able to hear the sermon on Sundays and the doctor at my appointments. It’s great to have a dependable app like this to navigate the hearing challenges that are part and parcel of being severely HOH.

I have been using OtterAI transcription service for the past 4 years. As a writer and journalist with 30+years experience, I remember the many of hours of work finessing interview notes and comparing them over and over again to a recording for accuracy, especially when quoting a source. OtterAI not only saves me hours and hours of work, it provides better accuracy. Having transcripts of interviews has helped me be a better journalist and ghostwriter. OtterAI is also the least expensive transcription service I have found. While I have experienced delays in service on a few occasions and dislike the restrictions on numbers of conversations I can transcribe a month on the plan I use, I still recommend it to my new writers on my editorial projects.

otter.ai is my number one recommended AI tool. I am able to stay engaged in meetings as it takes my notes. It provides a helpful summary, action items, more detailed summary and the full transcript with recording if I need to go back and reference the conversation. the number one reason I signed up initially is at the time and i think it still is the only meeting AI that takes screen shots and saves them in the transcript so all the slides someone shared but you are not going to get a copy of are now available to you anytime. I don't have to use my phone to take pictures during online meetings. This is also very effective for city council meetings i can attend in person (or not) and the otter attends through the zoom option getting all the staff slide presentations that they never share after. I have been using it for 7 months now and have i know multiple people that have signed up and now use it as well.
