The nurse practitioner was hateful she told me my fever 103 and sinus infection will heal on its own. There's no magic pill! She hung up! No scripts nothing. I reached out to support and they advise she put scripts in after not completing visit and hanging up so no I'm not interested. I'm a nurse and she makes me ashamed of saying that.i was not able to get into the portal and they would not help!! Save your money

This company misleads potential…
This company misleads potential customers by pretending to be your health insurance company. Even using BCBS logo on their correspondence. After confirming both with them and my insurance they are not apart or owned by the insurance company. The insurance company sold customers private contact info to this company. And they use the insurance companies name to try to convince you to book services with them.

One star.
My experience with Optum's VA examination scheduling process has been extremely frustrating.
Throughout the entire scheduling process, I have had only one restriction: I needed my examination completed before June 30, 2026, because I am scheduled to undergo open-heart bypass surgery. I repeatedly communicated this to Optum and made it clear that I was willing to attend any reasonable appointment before that date.
My original examination was scheduled by Optum at a Walgreens clinic and was subsequently canceled.
Optum then rescheduled me for July 14, after my bypass surgery, despite being advised that I would be recovering from a major cardiac procedure and unavailable. I had to call and explain the situation again.
After that discussion, I was scheduled for an examination at the Optum office in Orange Park. I organized my records, prepared for a 1½-hour drive each way, and was preparing to leave for the appointment when it was canceled as well.
I was then offered an appointment in Ocala on June 29, the day before my bypass surgery. Unfortunately, I was already scheduled for mandatory hospital pre-operative testing, including blood work and a chest X-ray. I explained that I could not physically be in two places at the same time.
At that point, I had experienced two cancellations in three days, a post-surgery appointment, and an appointment that conflicted with mandatory pre-operative hospital testing, all despite repeatedly communicating the same single scheduling limitation.
What was most concerning was hearing references to "failure to report" while appointments were being canceled before I ever had an opportunity to attend them. I remain willing to report for examination. My only request has been that the examination occur before June 30 due to my scheduled bypass surgery.
When I attempted to discuss the issue and understand why this kept happening, I was told I was being rude. The call ended after I questioned how there could be any discussion of a failure to report when the appointments themselves were being canceled. Being direct and asking reasonable questions about repeated cancellations should not be treated as misconduct.
Veterans preparing for major surgery should not have to navigate repeated cancellations, conflicting explanations, poor communication, and scheduling problems while actively trying to comply with the examination process.
Very disappointing experience.

The c&p exam was insulting
The c&p exam was insulting. Examiner over 20min late. Exam lasted about 20min total while examiner shuffled papers and continuously gaslit me, saying that my injury didn't happen. I was NOT allowed to speak for myself. I was NOT treated fairly or with dignity. Then he gave me a bogus phone number to call.

WellMed/Optum is horrible
WellMed/Optum's take over of my dr's practice has decreased the medical care and their billing is a MESS.
The providers are not the problem, WellMed/Optum is. No resolution from multiple complaints to their corporate. Absolutely a horrible company that make amazing Dr's and staff look bad.

Optum really lost me as a patient…
Optum really lost me as a patient today. I have been trying to get an appointment. Sick with a bad flu infection. Made si many calls to get in the earlier appointment is within over a month. I'm sick now not next 4 or 6 weeks from know. I don't know about anyone else but going to the urgent care that is not affiliated with Optum sucks. At least Kaiser has there own urgent care and all your information to begin with.

When health insurance stop overriding doctors…
When health insurance stop overriding doctors and allowing patients to rely on a medical team that is not influenced by what insurers dictate for how the patient will receive medical assistance, people will live longer and healthier lives. The root problem is that these insurers are not doctors, they have no training in that field and should do what they are paid to do. The bottom line is that it is all about money and keeping it in the insurance pockets. Something needs to be done to stop the early deaths of people so the CEO's can live in big, nice houses and drive fancy cars. Killing people is a crime and insurance companies should be charged with murder and not be rewarded with millions of dollars.

Follow Through Terrible
While the mobile provider was fine, waiting a month now for test referral and gift card. Can’t get through by phone. Can’t access patient portal without a code because can’t reach them by phone. Was told they provide this wellness service for my UHC Medicare Advantage plan but what good is it if there is no follow through on tests, etc.
