Rushed, Unprofessional, and Dangerous Care – Avoid Zahia Zhort, NP
Rushed, Unprofessional, and Dangerous Care – Avoid Zahia Zhort, NP I saw Zahia Zhort, NP at Optum twice—once virtually and once in person—and it was the most dismissive, unprofessional medical experience of my life. During our virtual consultation to go over my lab results, she was loudly chewing gum like a cow eating hay. It was incredibly disrespectful and set the tone for her complete lack of professionalism. Prior to-that, she forced me to travel all the way to the clinic even though it was supposed to be a virtual visit, only to spend less than two minutes with me. She barely looked at me, asked three questions, and rushed me out. She offered zero treatment plan, and tries to make you feel foolish for asking questions. Very condescending. Sophomania: DELUSION of superior intelligence. Worst of all, she is negligent with prescriptions. She went to prescribe the wrong medication for my thyroid disorder. I explicitly told her during the appointment that it was the wrong medication, but she ignored me and submitted it anyway. Her arrogance and carelessness cost me $200 out of pocket. I had to call the office back myself to demand a fix, and one of her colleagues finally had to step in and correct her dangerous mistake after reviewing the lab work she obviously did not understand. Good healthcare requires listening, and competence. Zahia Zhort has none of these. She is a joke of a practitioner who does not listen to patients and makes costly, risky medical errors. Avoid this facility and protect your health.
