I'm a Salon Professional 20+ years I waited to try the products until now to make sure they were still around Figuring they must be Great as more and more Suppliers are carrying them.. Started out Amazing... until I started getting Scalp Burns / Psoriasis like and increased shedding Luckily I caught this quickly as I was about to Stock and Sell to Clients... I truly believe if continued It could be clumps falling out...I watched all the Education .. saying Vegan Gluten Free absolutely nothing Harmful...I was told upon returning it's not to be used daily ..that is not True for Shampoo and Conditioner per the Company... Scary Stuff I Absolutely Do NOT recommend!

I have been using Olaplex for around 3 months now, washing my hair roughly 3 times a week and have found that it is falling out and now has the texture of candyfloss. I have been dying my hair for over 15 years and it has never been in such poor condition. I have been using 0, 4 and 8. I use 0 once a week and leave in for as long as possible and been using 4 and 8 as my usual shampoo and conditioner. I only straighten my hair once to twice a week, the rest of the time I leave to dry naturally. I'm really dissapointed as spent over £75 on products which have made my hair worse. Since switching back to a supermarket brand shampoo it is already in much better condition. I would not reccomend this at all.

My best friend recommended Olaplex to me and I thought it sounded amazing. I've always taken great pride in my hair and was always extremely proud how thick it was. I thought these products would just help it look even better as I do have it coloured. Within a month or so of using it I noticed lots of hair coming out when I brushed it, and to my horror it went so dry, frizzy and like candy floss! I'm devastated as I would say I've lost a good third of my hair. It started breaking off and looked just damn awful. In fact it was so bad I had to have a bob and a good three inches cut off to make the best of a very bad mess. I've stopped using the products and I'm now taking hair vitamins every day and desperately trying to get my hair back to how it was, but it's going to take a long, long time, and I'm not even sure I will be able to get it back to how it was.

Paid ridiculous amount for the product in december on olaplex.com and still hasn’t been received due to ‘warehouse delays’, its an absolute scam they keep emailing saying it will be sent and two months later still haven’t been received, and have since been told by my hairdresser that it is awful for your hair

I am totally devastated I started using Olaplex on the advice of my hairdresser as I have bleached hair and she swears by it, at first it was fine and I really liked it but now 3 months on and over £200 spent on various Olaplex products my hair is falling out in lumps! I dread showering as my hair just falls out I can feel it running down my back and my once very thick lovely hair is now 2/3rds less than what it was I am highly embarrassed by my hair now and its affecting me greatly its caused me so much stress! I can't believe I fell for the hype! last week I went back to my regular shampoo and conditioner and just a few hairs came out each time I washed so I have proved it was Olaplex! I am now saddled with loads of this stuff that I cannot use and its so damn expensive! gutted! DO NOT USE! ALL SEEMS WELL AT FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!

Olaplex is best hair products i have ever used. I love number 4 and 5. For a deep treatment, 0 and 3 are amazing for damaged hair. Number 7 the oil makes your hair soft and last about 6mths. I have used number 8 but would re buy, as i prefer 0 and 3 as a better treatment. I buy these products from lookfantastic.

I used Olaplex 4 and 5 for about 5 weeks in total. My Hairdresser said it was a fantastic product and since I get highlights around 4 times per year I thought I would treat my hair. Total disaster! After using it twice my hair felt smooth and silky but after about the third wash my hair felt hard to comb after conditioning. I didn't associate it with the products but then my hair started to fall out which became more noticeable and the texture completely changed to candy floss. I stopped the products immediately. I had blood tests done to check Thyroid function and these came back fine. I contacted Olaplex UK who offered me a refund of cost of the products. I told them I didn't want a refund but an investigation into why their products had ruined my hair. They responded to this by sending me their safety data which is irrelevant to me, their products are very obviously not suited to all hair types. I offered them before and after photographs of my hair and sent those. They did not respond. I also offered to send them some of my hair which I thought they could analyse for their own benefit as well as mine. They did not respond. Unfortunately this company are not interested if you have a bad experience with their products. Do not use. I am trying to repair my hair using sweet almond oil and Rosemary Essential Oil mixed. Leave on hair for a couple of hours then wash out. I have also been using Avalon Organic Shampoo and Conditioner and trying not to wash my hair too often, not had any colour done and trying to minimise heat from hairdryers and straighteners. I'm seeing new hair growth and my hair is slowly recovering.

I bought Olaplex shampoo a few weeks ago and already I have noticed my hair thinning, coming out in clumps and AWFUL dandruff..I am so embarrassed. I wanted to like it so bad but I can’t when it’s damaging my hair this badly :(
