We had a terrible experience with this company. It’s a complete scam. Me and my mother rented a car for three days in Lisbon and always payed for indoors parking so that we would never have a problem with the car. Once we got to the drop off, the lady that received the car went straight away to look under the left mirror of the car. I could tell she knew from before there was a little scratch in the plastic (have to say I would have not notice this when we received the car since it was not a proper scratch. It was nothing. Picture below so you can judge). They charged us 125 euros for this, plus 55 euros for “Damage management”. We ended up paying extra 180 euros for something that was already there. There is no one to complain with and they just answer “go to the police if you don’t agree with this”. DO NOT RENT A CAR WITH THIS PEOPLE. They will steal from you. FYU registration number of the car is AH500M in case you get this car, and the name of the lady is Joana. They already know where little scratches are so they can charge you after.

We had rented a car in Bergamo in Italy, but our plain was delayed and Ok rent a car had rented our car to another costumer. They offered us another car to a much more expensive price. It was triple the price we had rented for at home. The service was extremly bad and the people in the officer was rude and did not care about us as costumers. It was a very bad beginning of our holiday. I can not recommend this company, I will never rent at ok rent a car again!! 😠

Took 9 months to get my refund I rented a car in Ibiza for a week, was told upon rental to add extra insurance (not needed as I was covered) and that I would pre-pay for the full gas tank and be refunded what remains when I return the car. I took both additional charges (which were not noted on their website) and completed my rental. No problems with the car and the extra insurance was not needed... oh well. I returned the car with 3/4 of a full tank of gas, was shown the return form by the agent and told that within three weeks I would get 3/4 of my pre-paid amount refunded to my credit card. Fast-forward 3 months and I had no refund, I called the headquarters and was told to email them. I emailed and didn't get a reply. 2 months pass, I email them again and get no answer. After another month passes I write a lengthy email threatening legal action against them and demonstrating with photos that the tank was 3/4 full. (Tip: always take photos and videos of cars and their conditions when using rental agencies). I finally got a reply after that email and was told my refund was on the way. Had to wait and send another prompt to the representative who finally replied to me. Took almost 9 month but I got my 60 or so Euros back... but as a result I am motivated to write this review and let you know how terrible the administrative experience was with this company. Failed to mention anywhere that Brits need a international driving license took my 131 euros and sent me off packing without a car completely stranded even the people serving me was not sure of the rules complete joke, stick to the reputable companies

j'ai loué une voiture à Porto pour aujourd'hui par le bien de carjet Nous ne pouvons pas venir car mon fils à le covid. Mon frère qui est sur place est allé les voir pour négocier un avoir / un remboursement / un changement de nom de conducteur ou un décalage des dates de locations, ils ont dis qu'ils ne pouvaient rien faire, que c'etait car jet qui devait prendre la décision. Car jet nous dit le contraire, que c'est OK rent a car qui doit décider...tout cela avec les preuves de la maladie de mon fils. Devons nous venir quand même et contaminer tout le monde pour ne pas perdre notre argent? Qui est le menteur ? qui est d'incroyable mauvaise foi? N'allez jamais réserver avec eux!!

Worst experience possible We rented the car from Holidaycars website, It was named Ace Car Rental there, a website we trust and used before. When we went to Faro, Portugal we couldn't find Ace Car rental anywhere. We called the number online but none. Then by asking around we found out that their name has changed, it was with Gold Car rental but then they ended the contract. Now it is with OK car rental company. After making us wait for an hour, a driver took us to the car rental office. There the woman working wanted to sell us an insurance that costs extra 300 euros. Even though we bought insurance from Holidaycars, they said they arent accepting that. They increased the 1100 euros deposit to 1350 euros because of the fuel. They use the credibility of Holidaycars but not their terms. There is no way on earth I would choose them if they weren't on Holiday cars. In the end they cut 740 euros from our deposit because of 2 scratches. We could drive from Amsterdam for that price. When you are on their door, thinking if they are good- just run somewhere else or the best way just go to their doors. I hope they go bankrupt asap for the sake of humanity.

One of the worst car rental experiences in my whole life, I should have check this before booking…. More than 4 hours waiting to get my car, first waiting 2 hours under the sun to get the rent a car park transfer then a queue to get the car with 33 degrees and kids sweating and suffering from dehydration, after this 4 hours me and my kids we were exhausted and day was lost due to this awful company… then we received a hyundai instead of a gold as we had book with two weeks in advance paying more…. Not recommended never i will put a claim asap

Bonjour, Je tiens à vous mettre en garde pour la location de véhicules concernant cette agence. Je vous conseil de fuir et de prendre quitte à payer plus cher, car nous avons été très mal reçu et nous avons repayé la réservation de la voiture alors que nous avons effectué déjà sur le site de Rent à Cars. Nous avons dû donner 250 euros pour avoir une Fiat 500 pour 8 jours et les personnes sont très désagréable. Il profite que nous sommes vacancier et ils savent que nous avons besoin d'une voiture en sachant que l'agence à Barcelone n'est pas située à la sortie de l'aéroport. Je tiens à signalé que je suis actuellement entrain de me renseigner pour ne pas laisser cette histoire passé car la voiture dans l'histoire nous a quand même coûter 450 euros. Pour finir nous avons pris des photos de l’intérieur et l'extérieur, car chez eux lors de la restitution du véhicule vous ne faite pas le tour avec les agents, vous devez rendre les clés au comptoir et eux font le tour plus tard..... Faite attention....!!! Numéro 5823746
