This review is a little bit special as our flight was cancelled by the airline (Vueling). Consequently, we arrived with a different flight 12 hours earlier, the same day. Of course, we could have waited that time, and take the rented car as scheduled. But we didn't want to waste 12 hours, and thus we asked OK Rent a Car for a car that we could drive immediately. First, on arrival at the airport (SCQ), it took three phone calls and a waiting time of 1.5 hrs for the shuttle bus to pick us up. Then, after (additional two hours) waiting time with long phone calls with the superior of the supervisor of the rental agent (Andrea Rouco Fernández), we were offered a BMW Series 1 instead of a Fiat 500 (two of which were parked in front of the OK Rent a Car office:-). The additional fee was € 70.- for a week (August 24-31, 2021). For us, it was the perfect car. We have never had a better one. It was in good shape, less than 4000 km on the odometer. We enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately, on returning it, there were two quite significant issues: Firstly, Andrea (she has been working with OK Rent a Car since June 2021 only) tried (very likely due to provisions by the company's management) very intensively to detect a scratch where there was nothing but dirt. Luckily, we were in possession of and applied a sponge and some water, and subsequently, the "scratch" disappeared completely:-) Even so, Andrea made several attempts to charge us the fictitious damage, but finally she gave in (hardly admitting that the car was ok). Secondly, we had to wait for more than 1 h 15 min for the shuttle bus to take us to the airport. It has to be pointed out that during our 2-hour waiting time at the pick up, two (other) customers filed a complaint form... We couldn't as we have no residence in Spain. We wouldn't have done so anyhow, there was no appropriate reason for this. Andrea always was polite and helpful. But she has to follow the instructions by her supervisors, and she is quite new to this company, thus she must be cautious... Furthermore, it's a bad sign that the employees with OK Rent a Car fluctuate rather frequently on short notice... Many details of our experience are quite typical for this industry - thus we were not surprised- don't be it either:-)
