Wholly unimpressed with this company! Having arrived in Palma the minibus part worked fine and we arrived at the offices.I had booked through Easycar initially as the broker for OK Rent A Car. Things started badly at the booking desk as I was asked to start filling out forms from scratch even though I had completed all forms through easy car and had a voucher to give to the booking desk already. I had already paid £831.99 for a large SUV Peugeot 3008 or similar, the booking guy then tried to give me a Citreon DS3 which is a far smaller vehicle. Having agreed to look at this smaller car it was definitely too small in-spite of my explaining I have 3 sons and three large bags of luggage. I had to go back inside and change the car to the correct size vehicle which I had already paid for, whilst my husband and children were sat outside in the heat!!! I was also strongly advised to take the full insurance a further 291 euros as we would not be covered properly or the other option would be to take 1400 euros straight out on my credit card which would be non refundable should anything at all happen, I feel we have been heavily overcharged, not listened to and that they would have happily given me a smaller car had I not challenged, absolutely appalling customer service!!! The final straw was that when I was finally allowed to have a larger Kia Sportage he gave me the wrong registration number and we spent 15 minutes trying to find the correct car!!! Fortunately Mallorca is wonderful island and we had a great holiday, just will never use this company again!!! Beware they are trying to rip you off.

Très mauvais vous prenez l assurance avant d arriver et après vous devez prendre l assurance sur place à cause de l histoire de carte débit credit de gros gros voleur a éviter absolument

I have no idea where are these bad reviews coming from. Absolutely delighted with my experience with this rental company in Palma, Mallorca. I rented a convert for 26 days! Expect delays when picking up the car, but it's well worth it considering the value. The people working in this company DO care about clients and surely are not any worse than other rental companies in terms of policies, deposits and queues. Don't be scared off from the bad reviews. This company is excellent, like most in UK, just a LOT busier. Thank you so much, Ok rent A car, for this amazing experience. I'll be back next year! :)

After seeing all the bad reviews here I was worried. However, on arrival at Faro we were picked up quickly by the transfer bus and taken the short journey to the rental office. There were a couple of customers in front of us and we waited about 10 minutes. The lady serving us did not try to sell us anything that we didn't need and gave us very clear instructions on motorway tolls etc. The car was almost brand new and was great for our 10 day rental. We dropped it off full and my deposit was back almost straight away. Can't fault the service at Faro and will definitely use this company again.

Slechtste ervaring ooit gehad. Ze kwamen met allerlei redenen waarom wij geen auto mochten hebben, tenzij wij €200 betaalden. Uiteindelijk wel gedaan omdat een deel al aanbetaald was en wij een auto nodig hadden.

We had arrived in mallorca after a very pleasant flight. We followed the instructions and headed for the mini bus to take us to pick up the car. There was huge cues so we decided it would be easier to get a cab. We arrived on time to pick up the car which we had booked for 8.30. It was very busy and I walked upto the counter to pick up the keys. At the counter the woman said its some number next what number am I? Whenever I've picked up a hire car previously I just go to the counter arrange the deposit and pick up the keys. I was told to take a ticket from a ticket machine so I did. It was number R something so I'm waiting looking at the screen and after about an hour I was 6 places to picking up my car. Then the numbers jump from Russia to S's and I thought whats going on here. We had an hours drive in front of us and 2 young children. It was 10pm by now and I had paid to pick the car up at 8.30. I decided to confront the manager as this was unacceptable and not part of our holiday plan. The kids were getting very tired. The manager was rude and mumbling and kept moving around the shop trying to avoid me but I was persistent. Finally he got an assistant to sort out our vehicle and I was given a free upgrade which was something I suppose but we didn't get to our destination until midnight unfortunately. The vehicle was good and the return was much more smooth but its a month on and I'm still waiting for my £200 fuel deposit to be refunded and I have no way of contacting them. I filled the vehicle up on return because it was a full to full policy and I was told the refund would arrive within 3 to 5 days but I'm still waiting. If I had known then I would have paid a little extra for the car hire and picked it up from the airport. The hire price wasn't that much cheaper to be worth the hassle. I would avoid ok car rentals if you want you trip to go smoothly

The car was ok, but beware when giving it back before 7:00, they charge 50EUR extra which they "forget" to inform you even when directly asking at the counter about giving the car back at 6:00

OK Rent a car - Bergamo. At arrival we could not pay with the card used for booking, beacuse it was a debit card. We had a credit card, but that could not be used, because "it was not the card used for booking". Thus we had to pay extra 240 euro for "full insurance". In addition OK Rent a Car - Bergamo charged 50 euro for "after hours it" (even though we rented at 13.30), 40 euro for "new vehicle fee", 30 euro for "diesel fee", 15 euro "road assistance" and 3 euro for "subscription". None of these were told when booking the car. Total scam. Never use!
