This company understands how to value their customers. You love me, I love you.
I bought an office chair from Office Depot in 2014. In 2018 one of the 5 wheels started to fall off making it very annoying to sit on...Last week I turned the chair upside down. I found a big label with a customer service number on. I called the number and explained my issue. I provided the model number. Well - in less than 3 days I got 5 new wheels and the under carriage of the chair. This was at NO cost whatsoever to me. I am amazed how quickly and frictionless Office Depot (Office Max) provide this service to me. 5 Stars to you!!! I am coming back to buy more from you.

Office Depot thinks they are the Thought Police
I tried several times to leave a review on the OD site about an Epson projector I bought at OD. My reviews kept on being rejected because I told the truth. The projector was advertised as having WiFi. I had to buy a separate LAN module to make that happen. I then discovered that the projector would not allow me to run iOS apps - even though the description of the projector said I could use my iPad. I was wrong in assuming that I could run iPad apps. The only way to use iOS is to load IMAGES to an Epson folder using iTunes. What is Epson thinking? The only way to run iOS apps on this projector is with AppleTV. OD will not allow me to help other consumers avoid the hassle and waste of time assuming that the product works as it should.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service! I’ve been trying to return a damaged desk for 3+ months now. Promised pick ups, promised call backs never happen. To top it all off, I just got a $1400 bill with late fees included. Another call to customer service, another promised call back, and nothing. Avoid dealing with this company.

deceptive marketing/false advertising/ terrible customer service
Office Depot advertised a promotion for double back in rewards on all writing from 9/30-10/13. On 10/6 I purchased some writing items, but I only received 4% back instead of double (200%) back. The rep informed me that the deal was actually double rewards (4% back) instead of double back in rewards, even though my screenshot of the deal says differently. Office Depot changed the wording of the deal after the fact and then refused to honor the deal as it was written at the time of purchase. It is very poor customer service to refuse to honor an advertised promotion, but changing the promotion in an effort to confuse customers and get out of honoring it is deceptive and shady. Customer service has been terrible and after arguing back and forth for several weeks the rep finally told me I can return the items if I have an issue with it or else hire a lawyer to pursue the false advertising. When a company would rather get lawyers involved than honor their own promotion that says a lot about the company. Buy at your own risk and be sure to screenshot every step of the way.

Went into a Office Depot store to…
Went into a Office Depot store to choose a printer suitable for my business needs. I needed a A4 printer that printed onto labels. I was quickly shown afew printers but recommended a Brother printer and was specifically told instore by the sales person that this printer would be suitable for my needs.
I said I would have a think about it and left the store. Afew days later i found the printer on Office Depots website, cheaper with a cashback offer, so didn't hesitate any further and bought the printer. After collection the printer from in store, it was left at home for over the 30 day period, as I was trying to finish the inks from my previous printer before using the new one. Afew days after I installed my new Brother printer and did the test pages with plain paper, no problems, I was happy. As soon as i put the labels into the printer, I start to get error messages from the printer and obviously something was wrong. I rang Brother technical line and explained the error messages and also what I am using the printer for to be told that it is unsuitable for printing on labelled paper, not the information I was given in store! NOT HAPPY. I contacted Office Depot who were very blunt about there 14 day and 30 days return policy and that I had gone over the 30 day policy by about a week, which is fair enough, but the fact is they have made me look like it was my fault, customer services rang the store and said to me that the sales agents ins store had no recollection of me being in the store, not true, that I wasn't given this information, not true and I quote the below from the last correspondence form Office Depot Customer services " I have escalated your complaint to the regional manager who has looked into the matter . Our position remains that we refer you to our 14 day satisfaction guarantee and our 30 day return policy"
So this is how Office Depot treat their customers, give you false information in store then are not interested in helping to rectify a problem and stick to their policies, even when I was willing to spend more money on a new printer that was going to be suitable for my business needs. Unfortunately I won't be buying any products or using services from Office Depot again.

Office Depot has lost my support and…
Office Depot has lost my support and lost my business. I am a multiple business owner and, in my opinion, upper management at Office Depot should all be fired. The amount of money Office Depot spends for coupon preparation and mail-outs is ridiculous because of the excess restrictions placed on coupons. My business team will no longer make purchases at Office Depot due to coupon deceptive illusions. I’ve read several coupon exclusions and my question to you, Office Depot, is “what is covered”? 100% of my office supply budget will only go to other companies. That is a promise.

Bad service
Canceled my online order after 3 weeks of waiting - only to not give a reason for the cancel, had to go pick up in store - when I tried to write a review about the service it was conveniently rejected

I won't waste time on lurid details, but I'm 63, have owned several companies, and know the difference between POLITE and RUDE. I just experience RUDE, and I mean childish, temperamental, extreme RUDE from a cashier, here.
Office Depot, it was not the nice woman who checked my purchases, it was another woman I politely asked a simple question.
