Oceanic Teak FurnitureReviews of oceanicteakfurniture.com

Excellent set of furniture just delivered and amazed at great quality. We also ordered navy blue cushions and they make the chairs much more comfortable and really add to the look. Happy to recommend this company and its products without reservation.

The bench had very bad infestation of mold, not all was removed with bleach and detergent with some residual stain. Also I wish the wood was left natural with perhaps a coat of oil rather than stained. iOn areas that had gaps filler was used. A similar high end product was twice the price without these flaws

Reliable and professional shipping company

Arrived on time, well packaged, and undamaged. Assembling the table came with easy to follow directions. We did not find the hardware in our package so I called the manufacturer. I was most pleased to talk to a company representative that was helpful and pleasant. The hardware arrived in a few days. A very positive experience.

We ordered a 36" square dining table, a 67" oval dining table, 10 Pacific chairs, 2 Java chairs and 2 side tables. Sixteen pieces in all. Even before they arrived I received an email from Oceanic Teak advising me the 36" table had a discoloration on the table top and that they would replace it if I wanted. When the furniture arrived - on 2 BIG pallets - we decided to keep the 36" table, but found one chair leg that was gouged and a crack in a bracket under the 67" table. Oceanic Teak instructed us how to easily repair the crack (which was underneath the table and not structural) and offered us a $100 refund on each of the tables and a half price refund on the gouged chair. How does the company stay in business with such low prices and such a generous refund policy!? The furniture is beautiful, heavy and nicely constructed (mortise and tenon with through dowels). Considering how many pieces we bought, the small number of cosmetic imperfections are a testament to the very carefully packing. And the few pieces that needed assembling went together easily. We couldn't be more pleased with the furniture and the customer service of Oceanic Teak.

Ordered dining and seating sets along with cushions and umbrellas. The delivery was timely (less than 2 weeks). Assembly went better once the supervisor (wife) went inside. The cushions arrived less than 2 weeks later and are great. Can't wait for the first party of the season. Based on the wife's comments, I would suggest moving up one size on dining sets to give you more room. (If you need room for 6, order a 8 seat set.) Bob and Vic

I bought a teak table and 8 chairs. Everything was exactly as I expected. I would definitely recommend Oceanic and this set to anyone. I had a teak set previously but sold it along with my house. The problem was the chairs were so heavy that they were difficult to move. These chairs are much lighter (but still very sturdy) and they are stackable. The table is just as robust as my last one and the ability to extend it with leaves is a great feature.

Ordered a dining set and sectional from them for my new deck. Items arrived and look BEAUTIFUL. After seeing how nice the furniture is, I was skeptical that it could be real Teak wood given the price I paid. So, I sent a small sample to the USDA's Forest Products Laboratory for species identification confirmation. They confirmed it's Tectona grandis - I couldn't be happier. Thanks so much Paul!
