I’ve been with Nurx for about 3 years and it is nothing but another stressor every month or so. You have a very hard time getting responses from the customer support. You will get charged for things and not receive them. Most recently, I requested cancelation of a service and it was promptly canceled (no refills or follow up for the rest of the month period) yet I was made to pay for that month. Other examples would be asking for meds to be sent to a local pharmacy and them sending them via their mail pharmacy which costs more due to having to pay shipping. Unclear pricing, waiting days, or weeks for a reply, etc. I will say that the only redemption are the providers, particularly one that I will not name to preserve her privacy but she has been my doctor on there since the beginning and has been consistently good, kind, and listens. The idea of Nurx is good, but the actual implementation is not. If you have no health insurance and need care they offer and you choose to use them then stay on top of your credit card charges. You likely will have charges from them you weren’t expecting and it can get pricy. If you have insurance and think that they will just be more convenient than going to an in person doctor, they are not. You will save time just going to a real doctor every few months than battling with their customer support to correct all of their mistakes. *Edit - Nurx replied below, this reply came sooner than my actual message to their support. I sent my message to them earlier than this review and have not yet received a reply from their support, yet they have already responded to this review. That should tell you all you need to know. Embarrassing!*

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. They respond DAYS to WEEKS late, everything is an automated response, they’re late on refilling medication, they refuse to give me a refund, when they finally refilled my medication it was wrong, I couldn’t hate a service more if I tried. STAY AWAY. If I could give 0 stars, or even negative stars, I WOULD.

Stay away from Nurx. Nurx is horrible and you will not get the brand of birth control pill that you ordered or requested. I paid $45 for a specific brand but was told I would get a different one. Before it had been sent out, I had requested for the original one or for the prescription to be sent to a local pharmacy that could fill it. Since I cannot use other brands due to negative side effects, I called this morning to see if it could be fixed and if I could get a refund on my order and then charged again when the right brand is sent out. The customer service representative placed a note to the medical team but said that I could not be refunded. I think that is ridiculous since I was sent a medication I did not ask for and cannot even use.  When I pointed out that I had specified the brand I wanted in my form, I was told that I filled out the form incorrectly and that I should have stated negative side effects from other brands. Isn't Nurx supposed to specialize in birth control? Shouldn't Nurx have understood that changing birth control, even brands, would do that? I was not even asked if I was okay with changing brands in the messages.

Horrible recent experience. Zero customer service. Unauthorized Charges and a dozen messages, emails and phone calls later. Total incompetence. Too much competition to settle for poor service. Notice the positive reviews on the site are two years old.

“If you receive a medical consultation (meaning your online health assessment is reviewed by our medical team), we do not offer refunds for the consultation”—this is the statement from Nurx themselves I do NOT respect a company that wants to steal as if glossing over information to see if you’re eligible or not costs some professional $25. If they owned up to their misleading mistakes, didn’t withdraw so quickly and wait until seeing if people are eligible they may be respected but they don’t care, it’s obvious they want to steal from unsuspecting victims. Do not give them your personal information. They hold it in their systems after deletion too.

customer service takes multiple days to respond, no coverage in my area, no way to share feedback directly with them, went a month without birth control, no way to cancel subscription on the portal. whole thing has been miserable

They started charging me $3 in March for an Rx that I stopped using in August due to an allergic reaction. They said they "assumed" that I would need to fill it again, so will charge $3 every six months as a service fee for the anticipated fill at my local pharmacy. They refuse to remove the charge when I explained that I haven't filled the Rx due to an allergic reaction and also refuse to close my account or remove the saved credit card info. Save yourself the headache and don't use Nurx.

Charged me $25 to say my insurance doesn't cover it. Shouldn't you tell me that before?
