Nomatic is a very pricey scam
I ordered and received the messenger bag from Nomatic. After over two weeks for it to arrive I finally got to open the box. The messenger bag was quite a bit different from how it was described: very rigid material made it awkward to fill and also provided too limited space for a 300$ messenger bag. On top of that the zippers weren’t waterproof as it they claim, but at most water resistant, the very stiff bag didn’t stay up by itself when on the ground unless it was completely empty, and the magnetic pocket on the side didn’t close by itself, defeating the whole purpose of being magnetic. But I used It for a couple of weeks nonetheless, and that’s when the real problem happened. One day, while waiting for the train back home, standing with the bag on one shoulder, I hear a snap and see my bag with my laptop inside falling to the ground. One of the plastic supports for the shoulder strap attached to the bag’s side had broken out of nowhere. I was dumbfounded: my 2 weeks old 300$ messenger bag had failed to support the weight of a laptop, it’s charger and a bottle of water. I returned home furious and filed for the return right away, and after shipping the bag at my own expense and trying to contact Nomatic support several times I never received my money back. Everything considered, I paid 300$+ to risk my laptop’s integrity. The only way I can describe it is that Nomatic is a very well marketed scam. Don’t buy a Nomatic product, those are made with low quality materials while sold at the same price of top notch brands, too often defective, and the resemblance of their products with the relative commercials is as nonexistent as their costumer support.
