I WISH I COULD GIVE “0” STARS!!! I ordered the Nomad Air 3 months ago for my van. I have gotten a complete run around. They sent me the Cube after I said I didn’t want it as I need a 12v device; I sent it back and was assure by Heather that the Air would be sent right out. I waited two weeks; nothing. I called again and was told it would be sent out in a couple of days; nothing!! I called several times and left voicemails; never got a call back. Sent emails and more phone calls and was guaranteed that I would have the device by the 6/13, the day before my trip; you guessed it, nothing!!!!!! I now am leaving on a six week trip with two 12 year old boys and no internet!! I had said over and over that if they couldn’t get the device to me just give me a refund so that I could find another provider. I said please don’t leave me scrambling to find something else and was assured I would have the device!!!! Nomad has left me with no device and no refund!!!! SCAM!!!! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!! Worst experience I have ever had as a consumer!!!!!!!

Everything went wrong! We ordered Nomad do to lack of options, and we live in a very rural area. We paid the up front fee's, $400+ and received the Nomad Air modem, set it up, basic plug and play, and were up and running. We definitely weren't getting the speeds that they said we were going to get, up to 100mbps, but we figured we wouldn't due to where we live. 3mbps wasn't going to cut it though. So we tried to contact Nomad... Mind you, this is three days after we received the modem. The site was down, the phone number was disconnected. We were terrified? There went $500+ for startup and service fees. We tried back a couple of days later and everything seemed to be up and running again. Nomad gave us a solution to reset the modem, so we did, and that helped considerably, took us up to about 18mbps. Low and behold, the weekend came, and back down to 3-4 mbps, or 0 mbps. Then Monday hit, and back up to 18 mbps. We gave them the benefit of a doubt knowing that the service is Verizon, and assuming there was a lot of phone traffic over the weekend taking the towers down on bandwidth. It's logic, we all know that if towers are overwhelmed with to many connections they will slow down. Remember this, when paying their upfront fee, you do not own any of the equipment they send you, it's supposedly for costumer care assistance, also they will not let you change the settings in the router they send you, I.E. the password or anything else. They block you from it totally, in which is illegal by FCC standards as far as I know. Anyway. As of last week, our internet went totally out for about 5 day, we finally received and answer back and got it turned back on at about 3mbps, or 0 mbps... We've had this service, or not really for about 2 months, and have had nothing but problems with it, and now we know during the weekends that we are getting throttled. Unfortunately we will be out $500.00 and not have anything to show for it, but we are definitely going to cut ties with Nomad, and look for something different. Buyers beware. Very shady company, very shady everything!

Waiting 3 months for an RMA. not even sure this company is still in business. Called Billing department it said it was a 9 minute hold time, after 26 minutes still waiting it went to voice mail

I started writing nomad to get info like how much , is there a data limit, is there a contract, etc., this guy wrote me back & said I could try it free for 60 days, instead of 30, I could cancel anytime, get a full refund, so I called to see if it was available in my area, she checked & said 4G was all over my area, I told her what the guy wrote me about 60 days instead of 30, she said I could NOT get the 60 days, only 30, so I agreed. I received the modem on 4-7-23, I moved it all over my house & my son even tried it in his house, it did work, but kept dropping the signal, I tried downloading the APP, but it said they were having problems with it, I tried calling many times, I spent hours on the phone, the recording kept assuring me to stay on the line, someone would be with me soon, it also gave me the option to leave a message, after a 15 minute plus wait on the phone, it told me to leave a message, and hung up, so I lost my place in line, because they never called me back, so I called again & again, only to wait. I have called & emailed, I got the girl only twice. I needed help getting it to work, they only emailed me the same info I already had, move it around! I was suppose to be charged $109 a month, but so far they have charged me $199 twice now, the first time after 2 weeks, and again since I have cancelled, and I still have NOT gotten my refund for the modem of $291.39, they received it on 4-27-23, and this is 5-22-23. I cancelled on 4-20-23, this is the poorest customer service ever, they have never corrected the spelling of my name either, charging me for something I don't have $199 twice, and won't give me my refund for the modem!

I own a small truck stop and rely on Nomad Air for reliable internet. I can easily connect all of my devices to the modem and the signal is stable. Their customer support is also excellent and always available to help with any issues.

They SCAMMED me also. They claim on there sales page they offer a 30 day risk free trial. I guess the risk free trial is canceling my credit card and file a dispute with my bank to get all my money back that this company stole from me. I filed a complaint with the FCC and FTC and BBB. I will get my money back someday.

I own a fleet of trucks in Indiana and need reliable internet to track their locations and communicate with drivers. Nomad Air has been great for me. The signal is stable and I haven't had any issues with connectivity. Plus, their customer support is excellent and always available to help with any issues.

I've been with Nomad for a year or so, it's been a bumpy ride to say the least! But I have been on a "Bring your own device" plan since day one, and my personal MiFi is finally aging out. Decided to try the Travel Air solution with the travel bag to see if it would work for my hunting land. The transition was not "one click" but as long as I followed the sales and support team's instructions everything went flawlessly. My advice, be patient, relax, and let the process work through the seemingly unnecessary delays. For me it has always worked out exactly as advertised!
