I had a horrible experience with Nomad. Avoid at all costs. These people are scammers

Zero stars. They tricked me into spending another 200 dollars for another modem by sending me email that I needed to buy it, then informed me it was inferior to the one I already had. They cut off my service three times (was always current on payment) disconnecting their phone the last time, leaving only chat bot which would not provide any assistance. 5 months later I get a threat to pay up those 5 months when they had already disconnected my service or they will send me to collections. Almost an hour of my life on the phone to try and straighten it out. Terrible experience and so much frustration. Hard pass on this company.

For many years I was a huge supporter and advocate for this company, they had their issues but I was always able to get resolve. We have experienced several technical difficulties over the last year with the service we have received from Nomad with 3 different modems in 3 different locations and have never received any of the credit we should have received for the referrals, regardless of that we would have still been willing to stay (we have been with Nomad since 2018/19) but due to the complete lack of customer care/support we have been forced to look into other options and now with excellent services provided by another company I have to wonder what made me so loyal for so long to a company who didn’t care about my needs. I have been struggling with our last remaining Nomad modem to get it returned but I am being ran In circles by what I believe must be an AI customer support bot. They still continue to try to charge my cards almost daily. Writing this review has been a last straw for me, I have asked everyone I have been in contact with to please get this resolved so I can maintain my many public outstanding reviews but my requests continue to fall on deaf ears. Breaking up is hard to do but needless to say our love affair is over and I now find myself in the hands of Elon and StarLink and I honestly have never been happier. Nomad has lost their way and one by one are finding out they are not the only fish in the sea. Proceed with caution

I have no idea how this company keeps their doors open. No one speaks english should have been a marker, but that was secondary to their fraud. First they charged me $328.00 for router rental upfront plus $110 per month service.NOTE: I just received an email from them after my sign up that my router is now free. So am out $328.00 just like that. Second My 3rd month bill, they added $25.00 to my bill out of no where with absolutely no notice. When I inquired they told me they feel my frustration, live with it. I got the $25.00 with a charge back from my credit card company. My credit card company stated they are a very suspect company, but I can do nothing about the $328.00. LOST MONEY FOR ABSOLUTEY TERRIBLE SERVICE. When I found out they were under investigation by the attorney General of Texas I told them I was going to contact Texas and file a complaint. From that day on my service that has never been good has been interrupted a dozen times a day. Just shut off. This is the type of integrity of this scam company. I fell for this fraudulant company. My Bad! I now use a company out of Gulfport MS. and I am very happy. I don't want to use their name because I want people to believe my review with no promotions. This company is a veteran company that offers great plans with no router charge, and super fast speeds. Please stay away from Nomad for this is a scam company 110%!

I bought their nomad omni router and top level internet package. I bought it on 07/24/2024. I paid for expedited shipping also. 5 days go by, and no update to when the equipment will be shipped. I submitted ticket per their website. I got an email back. It states I bought a pre order only router. They then said they havr no idea when it will be availble Nothing on their website states that. Nothing in the buying process states that. They said I can cancel my order and buy the Nomad Air router. That this router is in stock. The omni router is $199 and the omni air router is $599. Sounds like a bait and switch to me. I asked for a refund. No response yet. They have 159 one star reviews on yelp. I've never seen that before. From what I'm reading also. Any positive review you read is fake. I was warned when I posted this one. That there's been a lot of fake reviews posted on here for them. Based on what I have read and went through with them. I strongly suggest using someone else. You will regret using them. I waisted a week with them and as of right now I'm out $250.

How are they still in business? I subscribed based on YouTube reviews (big mistake!). The YouTubers push Nomad because they get a free month of service with each referral. We tried using Nomad while camping, but we did not get continuous service. I tried cancelling service only to find out all of the sign up and rental fees are not refundable. Service is not even cancelled until they receive the equipment that you pay to send back. I wish I researched more. Big costly mistake on my part!

Complete fraud! They sold me a router and service, I uploaded a photo of myself and my id, now they cant send me my stuff. They just offered me a $50 off of my next month yet I dont have the gear to go on the road with. Stay away from this company!!!!! June 8th update they did finally refund this after sending me emails blaming me for this issue. These guys are crooks.

Negative 1 million stars these people are crooks. Do not trust these people with a million foot pole. Stay far away
