New Era Debt Solutions makes getting out of difficult debt situations much more manageable and realistic. They take the time to fully explain the whole process, answer any questions you have and how the credit card companies operate. They describe to you all your options and expected outcomes so you can make the best decision for your situation and ability to pay. Once enrolled, they go to work for you using the funds you can afford and skillfully negotiate on your behalf. On one recent settlement offer they were able to settle a debt for 40% of the original balance and have that paid over 12 months. I can start to see a light at the end of the tunnel and they have given me new hope that I will get out of this situation sooner than I thought and back on track with my life free of the burden of so much debt!

You have to keep nagging them to get them to reach out to the debt collectors to try and make a deal then by the time you settle a debt pay them and pay the taxes on the amount written off you almost payed the whole debt

Dear Michael, I understand that you are anxious to get out of debt, and we are too. We not only want to get you out of debt quickly but we also want to save you as much money as possible. Timing is critically important. A creditor can offer you a 45% settlement one day and then next time you talk to them it could be up to 75%. We know the best time to settle to save you the most money. You don't need to nag us because we don't want to take a settlement too early or too high. We know what we are doing. You have already got 2 settlements at 40%. You should feel happy about that. And in your situation you probably will not need to pay taxes on the savings, and you will not pay almost the whole debt.
