Dear Michael, I understand that you are anxious to get out of debt, and we are too. We not only want to get you out of debt quickly but we also want to save you as much money as possible. Timing is critically important. A creditor can offer you a 45% settlement one day and then next time you talk to them it could be up to 75%. We know the best time to settle to save you the most money. You don't need to nag us because we don't want to take a settlement too early or too high. We know what we are doing. You have already got 2 settlements at 40%. You should feel happy about that. And in your situation you probably will not need to pay taxes on the savings, and you will not pay almost the whole debt.
