I recently closed on my first home, and as a first time homebuyer, I had many questions along the way. The team at Neighbors Bank, and specifically my loan officer Rachael Plaggenberg, were truly exceptional at every step along the way. Rachael checked in regularly, answered all of my (many) questions promptly and fully, and really helped me navigate the process from start to finish. I can’t thank Neighbors Bank and Rachael enough.

As a realtor in West Virginia, I appreciate a great lender. Rachel is that and more. I have had the privilege of working with her more than once. My clients were very pleased with her promptness and professionalism. Whenever I would contact her with questions or updates, she was always prompt with a response. Many lenders I have worked with do not communicate in a timely manner, if at all. It’s important to me to have a lender who takes time to update me and my clients. Even though I know she is busy, she always returns my call. I highly recommend Rachel!

I had the BEST experience with Neighbor’s Bank...in particular Rachel Plaggenburg from Neighbor's Bank. My husband and I started our home buying journey with another loan officer at first. But as soon as that loan officer realized it wasn’t going to be an easy, high credit score transaction, he basically ghosted us. Rachel got in touch with us and was the biggest help from start to finish! We never had to track her down as she was extremely consistent with communicating with us. She told us exactly what needed to be done to get the credit score where it needed to be in order to get the best rate. She even provided the proper information for us to get in contact with the specific creditors. We made all necessary payments and/or arrangements and got the credit score where it needed to be. We were approved, found a house, and closed! From start to finish the whole process took less than 6 months and she was right there THE WHOLE TIME! If I contacted her with a question, she’d respond whether outside of her office hours or not. We would not be in our home today if it weren’t for Rachel Plaggenberg. The first day we started moving into our house there was a package at the front door. I had no clue what it was. When I opened it there was a gift from Rachel and Neighbor’s Bank. That was so thoughtful of them to send us a housewarming present. If you’re looking for an easy, helpful, consistent, caring, professional home buying experience I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THEM! If I could give them 10 stars I would. Thank you again Rachel! You were truly a Godsend!

When I first applied, I wasn't expecting to get approved. Then I did. Heard from Neighbors bank and explained that and they understood. Their was no pressure to hurry. Took about a month for me to grasp the reality that I could do it. Started looking, saw a few houses. Found the house, made offer, closed in just over a month after they accepted. So quick....
