Thank you for your review Mark! NeedTags provides registration services to tens of thousands of vehicle owners each month. Although the registration renewal interface (portal) for our users is online, the real work is done behind-the-scenes, by our awesome employees, and we're doing our very best to keep our offices staffed and continue offering our valued customers the expedited DMV services they've come to expect from us, including our super speedy next-day shipping, instant download of your renewed registration card, and our above par customer support... yay!!! Also, all fees are displayed to our customers prior to checkout, and we include the breakdown of the fees in the invoice we email you immediately after checkout... along with your instant DMV registration e-card. Please contact our customer care department if we can be of any further assistance.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review Jeremy! NeedTags strives to provide full transparency at all times. In fact, on the header of every page of the website, we display the following text: “NOTICE: NeedTags has been officially licensed by the California Department of Motor Vehicles to provide DMV services on their behalf. NeedTags is not owned or operated by any government agency and charges fees for value-add DMV services pursuant to CVC Section 1685. Standard service may be obtained from the DMV at no cost.” We display this text on every page of our website, up to and including on our checkout page, so that our users have every opportunity to identify that they are utilizing a value-add DMV service provider; the highest rated in California. NeedTags is not the DMV and makes absolutely no claims to that effect. We encourage you to contact our customer care department at (800) 300-7311 for a welcomed opportunity to discuss your concern further.
