Had a similar experience that others had here, but am not going to stand for it. They claimed to send the sticker twice, then said it was my problem, having not delivered on the entire purchase, and like others here, having been offered no remedy. But worse yet, under California law (and probably federal, and your state) losing information is a reportable event, mandated. So this is a bigger issue, and I will be fleshing out legal solutions, including class action. There are laws around this. They can't do this to us without penalty and damages paid.

Dear Glenn, we highly recommend you file a theft and/or lost mail report with your local Post Master prior to you placing a replacement registration request online. Due to having not received our shipment twice, we unfortunately are unable to mail you a re-print replacement order. It is now required that a new registration card and sticker (serialized inventory) be issued for your vehicle, and the old sticker number be invalidated due to the possibility of mail theft. This requirement is designed to help identify any vehicle on the roadway in possession of the invalidated DMV inventory for criminal apprehension. It is important to note, NeedTags has transferred your vehicle registration payment to the California Department of Motor Vehicles and your vehicle's registration fees have been paid in full. You are in no jeopardy of accruing late fees or penalty. Per California Department of Motor Vehicles BPA regulations registration payments are final and can not be reversed however other remedies, such as free replacement orders, do exists. Please contact our helpful customer care department if we can be of any further assistance.
