Well I used my card for the first time... I am ashamed of the food prices in their catalog. Its disgusting. A can of Carrots 3.50. Their catalog is a sham. Who buys this stuff I don't even know who make this. It looks like food pantry food. Also the Home products section, A pack of tissues you would carry in your pocket book. Are you kidding. No toilet paper, paper towels. The shampoo is a bottle is the type you can buy in the .99 cents store and they filled it up with what looks like soap and water and added food coloring for the color. No information on what type of hair, also they didn't even bother to create a label. Its looks like some drew on the bottle shampoo. These are necessities. This is the worst card I ever seen. I tried to get gas, the pumps here in Orange County N.Y. only take chipped cards, You cant swipe your card. If I had to rely on this card for food I would starve, or die of a heart attack form the most unhealthy food I have ever seen. Next month I decided I would just pay my Electric bill or some bill and use the money i would have spent on food. This is so bad... Someone needs to do something. Shame on the Government for allowing this to happen. I worked all my life, I am a senior to be treated like this? So Sad.

They re awful to deal with - and we need a class action to get their attention. The card is limited where it will work. If it does not work you can request a reimbursement - but the review process for reimbursement takes 30 days. By that time your benefit has rolled over for the month and you may never get paid. Customer service borders on hostile. I would like to see these people out of business

nations benefits is NOTHING but crap. They lie, they overcharge for products on their site, they do NOT provide a list of approved products on their site. The supervisors lie and do not return phone calls. I've made repeated requests to hear from Supervisors and gotten one phone call which wall FULL of erroneous information. A little history. Optimum chose these morons 2 years ago. For the first 8 months, you couldn't use Publix or Winn Dixie, the two LARGEST grocers in the state of Flordia. NOT ON THE LIST. Only Wal-Mart. This year, somehow they are even worse. Customer service is peopled with those who know nothing and lie to cover that lack. The "list" of eligible products on their web site is NOT a list. It's a search and it does NOT return the same information on the insured's screen as it does on the NB CSA screen. I told the agent I could send a screen shot for verification, but, of course, these idi*ts can't receive screen shots. Don't look for them on FB. They do not allow posts or comments. More proof that they don't care, don't know and don't care if you know. But, they pay for pet food. These are the absolute WORST. I've filed several grievances with Optimum, but they are doing NOTHING. My advice: file grievances. More than one. Change your carrier. I will. Nations non-Benefits SUCK.

my wife and i are Freedom healthcare customers. First of january 2024 we purchased food at winn dixie and used both of our cards $170.00. winn dixie removed all money and did not apply any of the $170.00 to our groceries. After 3 calls to nations benefits and 2 calls to freedom nothing was resolved. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!!!! $170.00 LOST. Worst service possible !!!!!

in December i was shorted three items. i provided evidence that there was a shortage. it took them at least 6 weeks to address this issue but only after i contacted Florida Blue. it should be noted that during that period i asked to speak to a supervisor at least 5 times but to no avail on each attempt. i finally got the shorted items replaced. now in this quarter the exact same thing happened! i now honestly feel something is not on the up and up with this company. I seems that they are targeting Seniors!

got my flex card was dismayed. realize i can only buy grocery with it it's fine at food lion have yet use it anywhere else you only buy OTC online catalog. there lot stuff they don't have i prefer to use that also cheaper i gave 3 star needs improvement.

I have called 4 times in 3 weeks to get a refund on the extra benefit card I mistaken used on 1-1-24. The reps i talked to were nice and promised a refund. Has not happened plus I got charged $34 on my CC and I never gave them my card. My CC company has refunded that money to me temporality but not nations benefit. PLUS the prices are 1/3 more expensive than you can buy these items elsewhere.

This was my 1st time using this "healthy foods" benefit. I tried to use at Walmart but nothing was eligible, even the foods listed in their catalog. So, I called customer service for an explanation. Basically, I will be forced to order these foods from Nations Benefits Catalogue, spend quadruple what my Walmart charges, very limited selections and the best part ---the majority of their foods are NOT HEALTHY! So disappointed. I can't wait to see what I get in the mail. After reading the other reviews, I guess I will be disappointed again. Update- I did not get the items listed in their catalogue but substitutes. I was also charged sales tax on some foods that are not taxable in PA. If I didn't know better, I swear these foods came from a Food Bank. I've worked in Food Banks and these foods resembled what we gave out in the monthly food boxes. This company is making bank on this scam!
