Regarding Creature Media and NatGEO Kids UK I echo the above comments. Do not touch either of these organisations with a barge pole. I bought a subscription for a 7 year old as a Christmas present. It was acknowledged on 1st December but still hasn't been received. Have sent several emails all of which have been ignored. Tesco have informed me they dropped Creature Media as a partner because they failed to honour subscriptions and had non-existent customer service. Still no subscription, no refund and they refuse to put you through to anyone to escalate a complaint. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE as Creature Media and/or NatGeo Kids would appear to be cheaters out to take your money and to provide nothing in return. Shame they are allowed to tarnish the good reputation of an excellent magazine.

Truly awful customer service. Refuse to answer genuine customer complaint, even refusing to stick up for their own products, just says "send it back". Refusal to give a managers name/contact details for a formal complaint, then hang up. Truly, truly, terrible.

Worst-ever customer service! I bought a digital subscription to National Geographic Kids early in 2017. Although the order was confirmed, the activation link never arrived. E-mails to ask for assistance were generally ignored. The occasional reply did not actually address the issue (e.g., advising me to look at the postal mailing label...). They even advised me that they didn't have a record of the order (even with the order details supplied to them!). It's now a year later, and they suggest that I subscribe electronically (like the original order never happened). It's such a fabulous magazine... how sad they treat customers with such utter contempt.

Love the magazine. But not to the degree that they massively overcharge existing customers compared to new subscribers. After many years of this, i finally decided I'd had enough of that and contacted them. Numerous times! no answer. Ever! They continue to send me emailis and mailings, wasting their money endlessly rather than answering my questions The agency that's clearly handling this as a third party is a disgrace. But the biggest disgrace is for NG mag who have made this decision and are so distant from their customers you can't even find a place on line that would give you their own contact details to tell them this. For a magazine that's supposed to be more of a club and one which i thought prided itself on being a force for good,.. wow!

Nat Geo kids and the company running the subscription (creature media) are impossible to get a refund out of. Within 14 days of purchasing you can get a refund, but they would not respond, and now because it is outside of 14 days they say it is too late / we have refunded you today / you will be called back / whatever excuse they have in their mind. 4 weeks later, after calling every week I have not been contacted and they seem have no way of dealing with a refund. You can not speak to another department or to a supervisor or manager. There is no way to escalate an issue. I have given them time to resolve the situation, but constantly face the same 'wall' of 'we can't help - you need to wait to be contacted'. Do not deal with them.

I am an addict to the magazine the show i drool for. I must be dreaming all in one place.

Haven't received any magazine for over 4 months now. Pretty shocking for such a reputable company. In this time, I could have circumvented the globe myself before receiving my subscription.

Genuinely the most terrible website I have ever used, which I find hard to believe given their international status and reputation. It's not at all intuitive and their FAQs should be called non-FAQs as they do not answer simple questions about how to manage your account. They're also terrible at sending the free gifts out, I was supposed to receive two, I received one after at least five months, the other I imagine I will not be receiving 12 months down the line. It takes a very long time to receive your first magazine after ordering (at least three months), and if you're changing address, inform them at least two months in advance as it takes this long for it to change on their system (why?!). I also haven't received the last copy of my magazine. While the magazine itself is great, the actual time-consuming and awful process it takes to navigate your account and their website ensures that I won't recommend buying it online. Also, when I first subscribed I had to email to ask them to stop sending me at least one email per day persuading me to sign up for a subscription (they had my email address BECAUSE I HAD SIGNED UP FOR A SUBSCRIPTION).
