When I first walked into the Orange…
When I first walked into the Orange Park, FL office I was met with smiling faces, positive attitudes and the caring for each person that walked into the office to make sure all were wearing masks due to COVID19. The exam, which was something different, was done virtually. The representative measured my eyes to my frames and I paid for my orders and left. 3 weeks passed then I received a call that my glasses were done and ready for pickup. When I tried them on I noticed that the lenses were not prepared as I ordered them with the thin lenses. The rep sent you out with the glasses. You brought them back and told her these weren't correct. You gave her back the glasses to have them corrected. When they returned you picked them up and the lenses fell out of the frames and you returned them again. This time I was a bit upset. Got the glasses back 2 weeks later, the prescription in the glasses were not correct so I came back and had to do another eye exam because the eye doctor prescribed a strong exam. So glasses had to be sent back out again. 1 pair was sent out for 3 weeks got them back which were okay. Now, the 2nd pair which I decided to buy my own frames, I walked into the store and handed them to the representative on August 19,2020. I went in yesterday, September 8 to find out the status. Found out that the glasses were not ordered and sitting in the representatives desk drawer. The representative was on vacation and there were no notes were in the computer to let me know what was going on. I have requested my money back and the return of my bought glasses frames. I will be taking them elsewhere to get them done. The Sales Manager who was at the store was very pleasant and very professional. This by any means was not her fault. This is due to a lazy and incompetent person who discarded me as a paying customer and thought my transaction wasn't important enough to take care of. If I were managing the store I would reprimand this employee.
